The deck holes needed a masonry bit, as I'd already purchased one. To attach those drill holes to the zinc/lead anchor sleeves. These bolts, and I believe they are as long as 3 inches (like hex nuts). Based on a recommendation from a hardware expert, I do not recall any exact dimensions.
I am in pure white.
Happy morning!! Normally we use the 5/16" masonry Bit for concrete decks, and as for wooden decks, we'll use the 3/16" Bit. I hope this helps in some way.
There is only one accessory to complete the rail: matchingescutcheons. In order to get 6' bases or anchor sockets, they must be ordered separately.

There were many problems which were resolved with this handrail. Installing it was relatively simple and he arrived on time. It had to come with our house so we resisted taking up residency in our pool. We're enjoying the ride together. Over a decade ago, before they had a retractable cover on, the previous owners left the handrail unobserved. The pool is a great thing for the children of our family. The steps do not appear dangerous if you do not follow a handrail. No problems occurred with cover mechanisms because of the perfect fitting shape. The hot Carolina son would burn their hands, but we also wanted something that would not do that. It has come to our attention that stainless steel gets much too hot to touch. There were already mounting brackets installed and this was a quick solution. The rust had to be cleaned out after ten years. My greatest accomplishment was using a round 2 inch wire brush on a drill. (a) The handrail was delivered before expected by error. There's no harm in fitting it right since it simply has to be plugged into the wall in 10 minutes or less. The bolts aren't made of metal, so I was concerned about tightening them too tightly. The tension is tight now, and sometimes I feel the force 1/4 turn or so more often. A great product, it is cool and stunning to look at.
It took only a short time for the handrail to arrive. There was no issue with the installation. Using a straight line tracing end, I traced from the two pipes onto the decks at the back of the building and inserted 2 x 3" holes into each end that would act as pilots holes for my 3" core drill bit I would set up this time. Two 2" holes are required to connect the 3" thick concrete deck that runs into the pool. As the bottoms of the 2" holes parted due to crushed stone pouring in to level them, you had to place a few more crushed stones at the bottom. By eliminating Piston-like motions of the handrail, you were able to minimize uneven drilling caused by vibrations in the hole surface. As we added the thin shim pieces, any side-to-side movement in the concrete was taken out and the hand rails securely locked into place. Installation appearances will be very nice with the escutcheon plates included in the package. pulling on the end of a rail allows a bit of flexing on the handrail. however, it can be pulled either way from the front or with vertical pressure.
We had some trouble last year installing the stainless steel handrail on our pool and some people leaving after taking the plunge. Despite the relatively new problem this year, the Saftron handrail will eliminate the light shock with coated aluminum. The product has performed well so far.
installation didn't pose any difficulty for me, although I've noticed that there's a slight lop that comes after one grabs the rail pulling on it. I'm not sure of the reason for the handle to have that much squeak. Still, my wife gets pretty close to the pool easily, thanks to how comfortably the handle handles work with her arms.
It would be very easy to install the handrail of my swimming pool. As this works for the moment, it can't possibly last forever, but as of now, it can at least perform well. As we didn't want the holes drilled too large on our pool deck, it was installed with anchors on top of it. It will work fine as a rail for balancing the pool and leaving it, but if it becomes so heavy it cannot hold on any time a load is placed on it.
Most likely, a hammer drill will need to be used to install an existing pool with concrete decking which has rebar access. The reasons for the "Easy to Install" rating for my case are due mainly to the rebar placement in many of the mounting holes which meant that it took an extended time to install the pieces. For every pool that has been added after it has been completed, this will be the case as well.
As an aging couple, my husband and I had difficulty staying in the water. In less than 15 minutes, we learned how significant this handrail was in everything we saw and done. Thanks for taking the time and allowing us to continue enjoying ple are now able to enjoy our pool again!.
My salt pool has two stairs: a Saftron step and a handrail. We have not found any rust as yet. In addition to making the pool look cleaner overall, white rails have also helped to keep rust out of the pool. Furthermore, the chrome rails enjoyed a lot more of a summer heat than the Saftron rails, which is a good thing. I have to say that I very much enjoyed the steps and rail.
