Does anyone remember if this ever stripped on them when they removed their ladders for the winter and removed the screws from their tubes, then inserted the screws next summer?

It is sturdy and easy to assemble
4/5

Please see https//www. nbsp Our old pool was the reason we purchased this. Ladders falling apart after 2 years caused the ladder to fall. Our deck adjusts from 46" to 60" in depth, so we were able to do a lot of landscaping As long as it was 56", I knew it would work. About 30 minutes were needed to put it Another set of screws would be the only thing I would have them add. Each step should have two steps on either side, but you are only instructed to put one on each side. There is no need to fill with sand (though you can if you want), just fill it with water from the pool or hose so that it's not lighter than the water and won't float up on you as you attach It has been in place for a month now, and so far it has worked well.

This ladder is awesome! I like this ladder a lot! I like how it's designed and how it works
5/5

This ladder replaced the cheap ladder that came with the Intex and Coleman pools because it was sturdy and spacious. As my son loves to jump into the pool, I built a small deck to make the experience more pleasant. The 4x4 posts were put in, but I had to wait for the ladder before I could put the deck at the correct level. The information I was given by Confer was further explained to me over the phone. There is some ambiguity regarding the height adjustment range, as the height range seems to be adjustable only within a certain It was explained to me by Confer that the ladder could be adjusted to ANY height that is between the minimum and maximum height. It wasn't long before the ladder arrived that I completed the deck. As soon as the ladder arrived, it took less than 15 minutes to assemble. In order for the ladder to fill with water, all that is needed is for it to be left submerged. In order to make it more stable, I first filled it with sand. If I had to buy a ladder again, I would just get a Confer ladder.

A great piece of furniture that is easy to assemble
4/5

My ladder arrived in good time and was surprisingly easy to assemble. It looks stronger than I had imagined and it was fast to set up. Sure there are a few rough spots here and there, but nothing bad and with a little sandpaper and a few swipes they disappear. A drill was used to drill 2 holes in each ladder rung so more water could enter. In addition, I purchased the pads for the bottom and under the top so that I could place a barrier on the rail at the top of the pool. A couple of reasons led me not to use the barrier that came with it. 2) Despite the above ground nature of the pool, we have an automatic vacuum system and do not want it hung up. As for 2), we do not have any small children to prevent them from getting caught and stuck between ladder and pool side. * Will return for more info. We purchased this ladder on June 23, 2018, and it has proven to be the best ladder we have ever owned! Since it came with foam pads, we put those on the bottom rung of the ladder to keep it from rubbing. In that way, we no longer need the under ladder pad. Despite numerous attempts, the pad was never able to stick. In spite of the fact that the prior ladder had actual steps, it took up a lot of room in our 15' round pool as well as stuff tended to accumulate behind it, while this ladder facilitates water flow and is easy to clean. The ramp is stable enough for my husband, who weighs 250 pounds, to get in and out of it. There are several steps on the ladder to help our dogs get out of the pool independently without any assistance from us at all. The top step is a great base step and the others are wide enough and stable enough that they can feel confident and comfortable doing it without Consequently, it also receives a 4 rating.

Pool Ladder the ROLEX of Ladders and I Made it Even The "FIX" can be found here
5/5

A majority of stair sets I looked at had floating complaints, so I decided not to install stairs. The weight would also make them harder to handle and to store in storage during the winter months. There is nothing better than this ladder. It's sturdy, looks great and has not only 4 steps, but a top landing with stairs that have been prefabricated If you want to bolt or screw that in place as well, you will need to drill holes. This approach makes it easier for people to climb up in the air than those who use straight up and down steps. The use of sand at a 48" height is not necessary. The pool down at the bottom is just 18 ft in diameter and the ladder doesn't extend into the pool far enough for it to be a bother. Well, everything seems to be perfect. As a result of the issue of ladder removal, many reviewers have given the product a poor rating, since you need to remove 4 screws on each of the 2 deck mounting brackets to lift That is an unnecessary task, I agree. Although it's an EASY FIX, this is an issue you should fix as soon as possible. It is simply a matter of removing the 2 screws (one on each side) just above the deck mounts and replacing them with 2 1/2" With two bolts aligned, I secured them with a stainless washer, a stainless lock washer, and stainless wing nuts. For attaching or removing the bolts, I used wing nuts so I would not have to use any tools to quickly remove the ladder.

I should have included this better option of using bolts instead of screws on my ladder, but I needed to switch them out for a couple of bucks or less at the local hardware store. Drill the holes for the bolts larger in order to make them fit, but it is not hard.

In the end, I am very satisfied with my simple modification and I can now use this ladder without any concerns since both knees have been replaced! It is my hope that this will help you make a It is an outstanding ladder without a doubt.

MAKE SURE YOU BUYER It seemed like a good deal after reading the reviews
3/5

It seemed fine to get the ladder, but then I had some guests over and they went swimming and one individual tried getting out of the pool when the ladder fell apart and hurt him. I never should have had to face this. As soon as I contacted the company to initiate a return, I assumed all would be Well, to ship it back would cost over $200 for a ladder that costs in the neighborhood of My math skills aren't very good but this didn't make a lot of sense to me. The result was that I had to throw this dangerous product in the trash. That's what a return policy is all about. In those ads, it should be stated that shipping fees are the responsibility of the buyer. I would argue that this was one of the worst purchases I've Hence, this is a lesson learned, even though I had to pay for it!.
