Questions & Answers

Could this ladder hold as much weight as it claims?

I use it to transport my husband, who weighs 230 pounds. It might be a good idea to check with the manufacturer about recommended weights.

Have just assembled the confer 7200 and the stabilizer bars are too high for my 48" pool. Could you please advise what I can do about it?

Set the bars to the proper height. On the mounting area, there is a slide groove that can be adjusted from 48 to 54 inches 52" in length. The ladder can now be set into the pool, and the bar can be adjusted to the top of the The ladder should be attached to the bars with screws. Lastly, if the bars are to be attached to the pool, screw or zip tie them. Thank you for your help.

I would like to purchase a 52" hot tub from Intex A frame pool looks like it has a ladder platform. If it does, does it sit on the Doesn't that put too much pressure on it if it sits on top of it?

Designed to fit against a wall, the ladder is elevated above it. It works well with a 52" wall since it is part of the 7200 series.

There are some websites that claim this ladder cannot be used with any Intex pool, but that doesn't provide any logic. Can this be used on a 22' x 52" Intex Ultra and be fine on a ?

It is a ladder for an 18' round ultra intex swimming As well as 52", this is the height. Our pool ladder mat wasn't ruined by the mat, so we had to buy one to put down too. Although the mat doesn't always stay in place perfectly, sometimes it doesn't. There will be a ladder in place for the second year in a row. It's already been four years since our liner was last updated. Which is why we might need to buy a new liner in another year or two. The ladder has so far proven to be a great investment. Comparing it to the one that came with the pool, it feels much more robust.

I feel much better now! Intex ladder included in 12' x 24' Ultra Frame kit that I purchased
4/5

I purchased this ladder to replace the Intex ladder. The ladder is much more stable than the one included with the ladder, and all of us feel much more at ease using it Between the supports of this ladder, it is 18" wide as opposed to 13" on the Intex ladder. Intex pools are not specifically recommended for use with this ladder, because it cannot be fastened down to the top railing, but I know I will feel much safer using it. I can't believe Intex gets away with including their ladder in their package, even if Confer probably is trying to be conservative by not recommending its use. For those who are interested, I included a picture of the two ladders side by side to see the difference in size. There is one star taken off by me as I agree with others that it should be a little simpler to work with.

ladder - I love it! It's perfect for my 18' x 48" intex easy set pool and I love it! The materials state that it is not intended for our type of pool, but the reason that it is not made for our type of pool is because it can not be braced to the In most above-ground pools, this is supposed to be attached to the ledge surrounding the pool
5/5

ladder that comes with the Intex easy set pools is also very flimsy and it does not attach to anything at all, while this ladder is a LOT sturdier. Our pool feels much safer to climb in and out of now that we have made it work. It was impossible for the ladder to wobble, so we found a way to stabilize the outside bottom of the ladder. Having little grandkids playing in the backyard, the roll down safety guard is especially nice. My husband and I assembled it together in no time, and we are pleased with the quality. The ladder is terrific! I cannot say enough great things about it!.

I like it a lot! Best value on the market
5/5

After doing my research, I made the purchase in February, assembled it in May, and installed it There was a lot of repetition of important steps in the instructions. A 48" Ultra Frame from Intex barely fits across the legs, but the side brackets do enough to keep it from falling over. Retrofitting some 1' uni-angles is on my agenda I opted to use the strut instead of the brackets because I was unable to position the pool against the paver path properly. Research & Development has been a high priority at Confer Plastics Don't let this bad boy get away from you. #1, I READ THE INSTRUCTIONS EXACTLY and got it done It is not something I regret. Because it was cold and raining, I assembled it in the garage in a bit more than two hours while there was smoke and scattered parts of the building. There will be coffee breaks. To snap it all together, I just needed a rubber mallet, a Phillips head in my cordless drill, and some "alone time. ". In #2, I followed the instructions and didn't care if anyone was watching me. Despite the fact that this thing didn't have brackets installed, I managed to climb on this thing still. As far as #3 Once I filled the legs with water and mounted the side brackets, I was pleased. In spite of the fact that it is rated for 300#, I know for a fact that it will safely hold more. A quick look at four issues
#4 Safety features such as guard work great and are a must-have. There can never be too much care for our 4 year old grandson with Asperger's syndrome. Using this feature is a PROFITABLE thing, since it works better than advertised and is very easy to use. To lock the roll guard latch, Confer Plastics even includes a high quality keyed padlock. The ladder is worth twice as much as is as it is, but it is even more valuable when I see how difficult it is to open without adult assistance.

I think this ladder is great
5/5

A smaller, flimsy ladder came with our 18x48 Coleman Vista series pool. So, we decided to replace that ladder with this one. I think this ladder is great. This is a very heavy duty machine. The steps are fairly simple, you will need a rubber mallet (my hubby used his hand-but he is Hercules lol) and a screwdriver and drill. An drill bit is what is used to drill holes in concrete. There are no pre-drilled holes As drill. lol It took us longer to put this together than to put up our pool. Great feature is the lock, and the platform on top of the box is enormous. in the wall where plugs should be placed. In the pool group on Facebook, it was stated they are holes that you fill with water to make the ladder heavier (it's possible that we didn't read the entire manual) I am in the same group and was told that they are for filling with water the inside of the ladder. In order for them not to float in the pool, the strap must stay in place. I see what you mean! I love it. A great ladder, especially for someone with a lot of weight.

A pretty solid piece of work
4/5

The ladder appears to be pretty solid. Having a 52-inch high above ground pool is always going to be a little shaky, but this makes me feel a lot safer entertaining my guests and keeping my little ones entertained. As a replacement for my intex pool ladder that came with my 22-foot round pool, I purchased this. The steps have an easy pull down cover, which I really like. The fact that it fills with water rather than sand is a big plus to me, as well as the fact that you don't need to anchor.

I used it to fill my 22' Intex pool and it worked well
5/5

I used it to fill my 22' Intex pool and it worked well. There is a tiny bit of wobble, since the ladder cannot attach to the metal rim of the pool, but it is so much better than the ladder that came with it. It has a large top platform and a comfortable seat on top of it. The project had a few holes that needed filling The board had to be drilled before I could assemble it, but it was not a As a whole, this ladder has been very satisfying to use. I read a review that stated it floats, but I have not had this problem, just filled the legs with water as directed.

This is the best choice of AG Pool Ladders on the market
3/5

A-type slide lock A-11 I purchased this to replace an A-type slide lock 11 years old The ladder is made of a frame. I prefer this ladder to the other one because it's more sturdy. Mounting it to the pool is still on my to-do list. Water must be used to fill it. The setup of the system was a little challenging at first, but after finding a YouTube video that had an important part not mentioned in the manual we were able to get it put together and the problem was solved. The old one had all the screws, but this one does not. The plastic ladder is strong and durable as compared to the other. Mounting it to the pool is still on my to-do list. First I'm trying this ladder in this spot in the pool. With my previous ladder I had trouble getting the Diver Dave pool cleaner out of the bottom, so I put this one in a different location. A glass of water needs to be filled. The initial set up was a little tricky, but once we discovered a YouTube video there was information on the video that wasn't in the manual. Once we found the YouTube video, the problem was solved. While this does not have all the screws the old one had to keep it together, it is much more stable than the other one, which was always leaning to the right when you got in and out. There are no young children in our house, therefore I did not install a safety guard. In the same manner as the previous model, I expect this to last a long time. If you get these instructions, make sure you do not overlook the YouTube video because without this step, you cannot build it properly.
