Questions & Answers

Is this ladder capable of supporting a certain amount of weight?

Printed in the owner's manual, the maximum weight for the bed was 300 pounds. Although it is not as big as our previous ladder, it was given to me by a friend it was a $500 ladder however, it was a hassle to clamber in and out of the pool so I decided to get You can go ahead with it if it meets your standards

The ladder rises from the ground to the top of the platform. What is the height of the ladder?

A ladder that fits a 52" pool from ground to top of the pool, I had to modify it slightly because my pool deck had been built around my pool, but it is a decent ladder that is

In height (at the top of the ladder handles), the ladder has a total height of 4 feet 3 inches. How are you?

The ladder handle is approximately 76 inches tall from the bottom of the feet all the way to the top. This is much more accurate than either 6 feet or 78 inches, despite the approximate nature of the measurement.

How long will it take for the metal to ?

Rough handling can cause the outside coating to peel off, causing the surface to rust over time. In addition to rusting on the inside of the metal poles, water that has become rusty will remain inside if not regularly drained.

I was able to make do with this in a bind
4/5

Following the instructions was relatively easy only took about 20 minutes for me to build this. It is a bit narrow, so the ladder will be difficult to use. As well as being very slim, the top platform is narrow. It's 5'9", 150 pounds, and I have a normal sized rear end. The ladder ends at the top, so you will have to turn yourself around at the top in order to enter the pool backwards, since I can't sit down on the top of it. While facing the steps is awkward, you may be able to jump in (or you might just have to face the steps backwards). No matter what surface the ladder is placed on, it wobbles. It's probably best not to use it if you weigh more than 175 pounds. The positives are This large umbrella fits over our 54" pool sides, making it a great choice for children. As a quick fix while we waited for our deck and steps to be built, it worked.

What I expected and what is shown on the website did not meet my expectations
3/5

Despite the ladder that was provided with my Intex Ultra Frame pool, the pool is very rocky. When I bought this ladder, I thought it was an upgrade over my old one. After opening the box and inspecting the parts, I will be returning it as soon as possible. With the exception of the removable stairs, this ladder is pretty much the same as what came with the pool. Both the stairs and the steel are the There is a narrow stairway attached by clips that feel like cheap plastic and appear to be made of cheap plastic. Although I expected it to be thicker and more rigid, the steel was not as thick as I expected. Additionally, the box only indicates "Intex Ladder with Removable Stairs" - it makes no mention of the word "Deluxe". In this comparison, the ladder in question is not like the one shown in the picture because the top of the ladder has rounded edges instead of square-shaped edges as appears on the picture. There is no need to replace the ladder that came with the Ultra Set pool, as it is Even though I am 180 pounds and don't have much of an issue with it, I didn't feel it was safe watching some of my larger friends or their children use it. This ladder was bought for them as an upgrade to provide them with a more stable and safe ladder, and I have no doubt that this product will be no Intex pool ladders are basically the same thing. If you have an Intex pool that came with a ladder, then this is what you need. For the price you are only getting a good ladder, but if you need one then this is the one for you. In addition to holding it to help stabilize it for peace of mind, you may find that you need to do it even with children.

The one to buy is this one! Ladders like this one are great! The acronym ASM
5/5

It was then placed in the pool and was secured to the pool frame with 2 heavy zip ties. The ladders are sturdy and really make getting in and out of the pool a pleasure. What do you think of the bad reviews I read about I think this is a vast improvement over the ladder that was included with the pool if it's on level ground and zip tied. We were very pleased with what we got for the money, and remember not to be fooled by bad reviews. My role as a TOOL MAKER makes this purchase all the more valuable.

It is unstable
3/5

As you get near the top it comes out of the water and tips towards you, if the top of the pool edge did not catch it and tip all the way over. Many reviews mentioned this ladder was unstable, but none mentioned why or how it was unstable, now I get it. As an extra, I will keep it, but I'm not impressed with it. ladder consistently performed the same regardless of a person's weight or size, even though their weight ranged from 75 lbs up to 180 lbs.

The Intex pool is compatible with this product
3/5

To replace the ladder that came with the 18' x 48" Intex Easy Set swimming pool, I was looking for a better ladder. Many of these wouldn't work due to the fact that they had to be connected to the pool. An extra-wide step would be more comfortable for me, and one that was sturdy would be more sturdy. There wasn't one I liked, at least not one at a reasonable price. I chose this one because it was compatible with my pool and had steps that could be removed or put upright to make it safer. The ladder does the job, but it's a little shaky, I don't feel comfortable standing on top of it and turning around when I get out so I can go down the ladder facing the pool. Since most steps are narrow on this type of ladder, and because there is no piece that goes behind it, nothing can go behind there and kids can get hurt. My granddaughter wanted to go behind the ladder to play, but I was glad to let her know it could Moreover, the price was right, it was compatible with the pool, and the front steps can be removed. The things I mentioned above are satisfactory to me. While the ladder is not as sturdy and steps aren't as wide as I would like, it works with this pool. The ladder is a bit shaky for adults, kids cannot play behind the ladder, and it is not as sturdy for adults.

It works perfectly, has a very good price, and is very durable
5/5

In the beginning, the ladder that came with the above-ground pool (metal frame) appeared to be adequate, but when the adults (my husband and son, who is 250lbs and a football player) tried to climb on it, it bent inward to the extent that it was unsafe. It broke in the end. Thus, I looked for a ladder that could support the weight all over town. All that I found online that would fit this requirement were expensive stair sets, then I remembered I had one like this when we had an Intex swimming pool and it wasn't too bad since it was made from metal rather than As I came across it, I thought it was an excellent deal for $80. $300 and up can be a real bargain, and it is working like a charm. My husband and son are able to sit in it, and it holds up well under their weight. Does not rock a lot, and water still flows freely in the pool. One of its advantages is that it can be removed from the pool easily (I was able to lift it without help) or the steps can be removed. This is a very sturdy and reliable ladder that is a great price and shipped very quickly. I would recommend it to anyone who is looking for a sturdy and reliable ladder at a great price!.

It's such a great ladder, and it's really easy to assemble
5/5

I had little difficulty assembling it since instructions were clearly printed on a large piece of cardboard in the box, and even I felt compelled to follow A majority of the assembly is done using plastic pins, which are the same as those from the previous ladder. The ladder lasted more than four years, but the metal pipe rusted out since it was in a pool filled with salt water and never taken out of the It requires a Phillips screw driver and a small wrench or good pliers in addition to the phillips screw driver. If you need to install the screws, pay close attention to the instructions since some screws require greater length. One difference in the pools is that with the safety feature, steps can be removed from the outside, which means it is no longer necessary to remove the ladder from the pool to ensure children cannot climb into the pool when adults are not present.
