I believe it to be 300 lbs
In the pool it won't slip or slide because the ladder's weight is good enough to keep it there. As far as stability is concerned, it's fine. It works great for kids under 100 pounds, but it needs to be used with care when used for adults.

It may not be the most economical tool to get in and out of an above ground pool, but it is still the most efficient. This is the only 30-day one we have It's only an inch deep, but we need it for the little ones. I asked at first if it was going to work (5'2"), but after one time in, I realized I wouldn't have to use it. They are far too close together at the top (not enough room to comfortably and safely turn around) and they are too unstable. I have my three and six-year-old in my office at the same time The year is The ladder can only be used by one person at a time, and it makes me very nervous at the top because it wiggles, torques, and moves about. I had been searching for a creative solution to the problem but was not able to find one other than to build my own or spend I am unhappy with the 60 dollar price tag.
My grandson's 10' x 30" pool will be insulated with this unit. Despite his age of four in 8/20, he's still a little too small to step into the pool. I have no complaints about the ladder itself. It is easy to assemble, but be sure to read the instructions before assembly. LOL, there's a reason why things go together in a particular way. The only problem is that it is a little heavy. The biggest drawback of the design, and this is my fault for not paying attention to the actual picture, is that there is a big space between the outer ladder and the ladder that sits inside the pool. In between the two, I would have liked to see some kind of solid panel or board. It makes me cringe to watch him cross, since I am just picturing him falling between them. This might just be too young for him, even though it is a very good product. However, it's not really relevant to a 4 year old.
The only thing that made it less than five stars was the ease of assembling it. The stability and stability are very unstable. I have already seen rust on the ladder after just a month of usage, even though I only use it on weekends, and I take it out of water at night and on the other days of the week. I would not recommend this product. I am disappointed.
It is perfect for our Summer Waves metal frame above ground pool 15ft, 33in tall. Putting the table together was a breeze. Installing the steps and inserts proved to be the most challenging part. There are some videos that recommend the use of a mallet/hammer, but others say you can use your own strength with two hands to close the gap that exists between the insert and the bottom of the step on each side of the pole, to secure it There are instructions that explain how to do this Videos on YouTube and the Intex site presented explanations in a visual format that was useful of visual learners. This ladder is strong and stable enough for a regular-sized child to get on. It is nimble enough to let the child twist around and climb up and down the ladder without injury. Adults did not fare so well, and they were extremely Maybe a design flaw, but adding a full-sized step closer to the top (like other general ladders) would make the ladder more usable and less frightening to smaller children or to prevent accidents such as little limbs getting caught between the ladder and the pool. If I were an adult using it with my child, instead of this pool ladder, I would suggest using a solid staircase inside the pool to get out of and a trampoline ladder to get in. That opinion and suggestion is based on safety reasons, of course. A situation is a situation no matter what the reason might be. For what it is meant for as well as the few safety features it has, I would prefer a much cheaper version of this product. It was quicker and cheaper to just rent quality steps under $200 rather than spend $200 on quality As we use well water and pool chemicals, we're willing to update this post once rust is likely to form on the metal. We may just spray on some plastic dip to be safe than sorry with potential rust stains.
As a first time owner of an aboveground pool, I am experiencing many firsts. The ladder will be used with a circular pool, measuring 12 feet long by 30 inches deep, produced by Bestway. All of the parts fit together nicely and the assembly was a breeze. The FredEx delivery was disastrous, so I was concerned that the item would be missing parts. All the seams of the package had been taped together after being torn apart. As a result, I was quite surprised at the fact that nothing fell out of the box during shipping. They dropped this from a drone on my door step, just as if it was a gift.
The problem is As a novice climber, I found climbing the ladder to be easy, but moving from one side to another a little problematic. I had to turn around at the top of the ladder to descend it into the pool with only the width of a step on each side to steady myself as I tried to change directions at the top of the ladder with all four legs on solid surfaces. The solution is In order to make the upper two steps much safer, I built a platform spanning the top two - and once it's in place, it's firmly fastened in place You will have a safer entry into the pool by allowing an area to be built around it.
My favorite is the original - but I don't like this so much There are a number of issues with it, such as the spindly nature, and the fact that the top of my pool rubs against it, which was not the case with the original. In any case, the powder seems to be fine This one has been coated rather than just painted, so hopefully it won't rust within a short time span.
