The gates are not sturdy, but they are fine if only the kids will be using them. I had to use boards both sides to secure mine, and it works just fine.
DECK IS NEXT TO MY 48" POOL, AND I BUILT IT. MY LADDER WORKS GREAT AFTER I ATTACHED THE BRACKETS THAT IT MOUNTS TO, AND I HAVE BEEN ABLE TO USE IT. This book is well worth your money! THANKS FOR CONSIDERING THIS. I HOPE IT HAS BEEN OF USE.

Easy to modify in height, solid and smooth material that doesn't float and was easy to move. I came into my house 15 years ago with a 27' round pool with the original ladder, so I estimate it to be around 20 years old. Seeing as it broke last year, that's at least 19 years old, give or take a few? Is it about $5 per year? It doesn't bother me at all. As now in need of a new ladder, I have seen a number of models on Amazon and have read many reviews, but when reading that some could float, would I need to weigh down the ladder? That's not my cup of tea. Many of the people I read said this model was "flimsy. " What do you mean by that? When there is 48" of water in the way, how hard is it to get out? If your a gorilla you can move the handrails however, in 15 years that was not an issue to me I have never noticed that until I read this review thus it doesn't really matter, as it works just fine and lasts sooooo long I bought another one! Usually the ladder only stays up for three months before being put in the shed where I live in the Chicagoland area.
I think there should be a metal device in the rails to keep the ladder from bending backward when going up and down it doesn't feel like there is any support in the ladder - The back-and-forth of a ten-page document The year is The old guy shakes this thing like nobody's business, always waiting for an appropriate reaction from them.
It appears to be made of good materials and it is easy to assemble, but when climbing out of the pool it is rather wobbly. It's a little wider than our old ladder, and my grandchildren noticed this, so I checked everything including where it's mounted to the deck and everything is correct. We will live with what we have, but we do like the fact that it's a little wider. It has been in use a lot this summer and has held up well, so I think we paid a fair price.
Despite the fact that it was easy to adjust, install, and does not take up a lot of space, this ladder would suffice for a few folks. In my opinion, it's a great product.
As of right now, we have only half of the screws on the deck for our ladder. I and my kids were able to get into and out of the pool easily. When my brother weighing 240 pounds climbed in and out of the bed, we were a little anxious. His comment was that it was wobbly despite looking sturdy. As a precaution (just in case), we told him to take precaution.
In spite of its high price, this ladder is very good for its purpose. There is no floating at all and it can easily be removed during the off-season. Despite its flimsy nature, it can be used to get into and out of We don't have any problems sitting on it. You may have issues if you jump on it or if your kids are really rough on things.
Amazon helped me buy a new ladder for our house after my old one broke. It never occurred to me to think about it. There is a great deal of sway in this There is absolutely no safety in this. will return the old ladder and put the new one back in its place. 178 dollars. 100 pieces of cheap plastic floppy disks!.
