Questions & Answers
Yes, it is effective for me. This little net is perfect for me because it isn't too big and does a fantastic job!
Is it possible to use duct tape instead of duct tape? 😁. Please accept my apologies for not being able to provide an extension. Pool supply store is a good place to start.
As in, replacing the frame's net? No, I don't think that's true.
I'm not sure where it's made, but the two I purchased are still in good shape.

This is the most powerful hand-held skimmer on the market. This is your Excalibur if you're like me and enjoy swimming with a skimmer in your hand. A terrifying gallery of debris is collected by ultra fine mesh (have fun identifying all those bugs). Cleaning spas and above-ground pools is a breeze with the long handle. You won't have to worry about getting your hair wet if you scrape the bottom. The best part is that the net design allows for complete capture. Water flow often pushes debris out as you go with flat ultra fine nets. This net catches everything and allows you to change directions underwater without losing a single nastier creature. I'm not sure why you're still reading this. Purchase it right now!.
The hot tub was the reason for the purchase. Though it appears to be a little large at first, I believe it will be ideal for reaching the center of the tub (before entering) without having to lean over it. The purpose of this photo is to demonstrate the size of the item.
I purchased the U. S. Because the other skimmer net is connected to the long pole and is quite heavy even without the pole, I bought a Pool Supply Professional Spa, Hot Tub, Pool Hand Leaf Skimmer Net with 12" Aluminum Pole to use while I'm in the pool. I tried it out the other day and it worked perfectly. It also floated, which I was worried about at first. It's light and easy to swish through the water, and a simple tap of the wand against your open palm knocks the debris out of the net. My pool is surrounded by palm trees that drop their floating flowers. This year, I'm all set.
Perfect for the hot tub in the spring and fall, when the trees drop all sorts of things into the water. Nobody wants to sit on that filth, and the filter is filthy as hell. This little skimmer, on the other hand, saves the day. It's exactly what the doctor (as well as my wife) ordered- What good is a hot tub if your wife refuses to use it? This is a winner because it is solid, not at all heavy, and it cleans the tub quickly, and look at the price. Purchase one for yourself. You will not be sorry.
While I'm in the hot tub, it's ideal for skimming flies and tree buds from the surface. This mesh is extremely fine. This product has a quality issue; the first one was returned due to a one-inch hole caused by poor stitching. Some of the stitching had to be glued on as part of the replacement. It performs admirably, but I anticipate that it will need to be replaced on a regular basis. Lightweight, fine mesh, and a plastic frame that won't damage the hot tub are all good features.
For our above-ground swim spa, I didn't want a huge net on a pole. This is the ideal size for removing items from the spa, and it's also suitable for children. The interface is very user-friendly. In the pool/spa store, I couldn't find anything similar in style or price.
This is my first choice in a skimmer for plastic tubs, but if you have a cement hot tub and need to remove fine sand and grit, this is the best I've found so far. My only gripe is that the mesh would be even better if it were flat, as this would make knocking out the grit even easier. Furthermore, while this skimmer floats, the handle isn't completely sealed, so it will eventually fill with water. The plastic portion of the skimmer, however, prevents it from sinking even when filled with water. Overall, I think this is the best skimmer I've found for a concrete hot tub.
everything is collected This skimmer captures the tiniest algae in my small pond. A fantastic item.
