To store cushions, I was in need of a deck box in a hurry. I had to order from Amazon due to my big box store being out of stock. This item cost $270, but is back in stock at the big box for $169, so it pays to check on prices, especially for bulky items that may be lacking in This item is overpriced at $ 270. I assembled the table in less than 15 minutes, it simply clicked together (I do a lot of this stuff). I can definitely tell that the box is not as heavy or sturdy as the old box it replaces, which was 20 years old. The benefits of this lie in the fact that it makes people lose weight more easily. As the item is only a month old, it remains to be seen whether it will last.
Although not a huge deck box, I think it's big enough to be of use, and I took advantage of prime day which meant the price is great.
Panels on other deck boxes from the same manufacturer we have had for years are considerably thinner. There is some evidence of weatherproofing, but the lid does not close tightly, so I don't know how long that will last. As the bottom of the box is narrower than the top, large items such as folding patio chairs can't lie flat inside. As a result, they need to lean inside so that the lid can.
The purchase I made has really dissatisfied me.

A broken hinge causes the top to slam shut when the top is not able to stay open. There was no one at the company when I called.
A part is missing, so assembly is not possible. The manufacturer has been notified electronically and I hope the parts will be shipped as soon as possible.
