Selected User Reviews For Ultra Pro Lime Green Satin Tower Deck Boxes
These deck boxes are almost perfect; I have 6 decks in them and they are fantastic. However, there is one minor flaw that affects all of them (and after purchasing six, I can say it is a design flaw rather than a faulty item), and that is that the bottom chamber does not lock as securely as the top chamber. The card chamber will be difficult to open, but the dice chamber will (occasionally) pop right out. I've found that putting one piece of painter's tape along the inside of the rim on both sides secures this chamber like the top and works fine from there; I only give it a 4/5 because I have to do this little step on all of my boxes, but even so, I still think this is the best case on the market. This review gets a nine out of ten.
The satin texture is nice. br> It fits a commander deck, tokens, and a bunch of dice nicely. br> It's made of solid plastic, so it should last a long time. br> There's no need to be concerned about the bottom separating. It has a lot of substance to it.
- The color green does not appear to be as it appears in photographs. It's not as bright as neon, but it's still a vibrant shade of green. There isn't even a hint of yellow.
- The oversized spindowns that have been included in MTG bundles for the past couple cycles will not fit in the dice tray. Fits the previous size - as well as many others Plus a 36-pack of small d6 chessex dice, which aren't tall enough for the newer, larger spindowns.
This deck box is fantastic! br>br>Fits my 100-pound frame a double-sided card sleeved (KMC fits perfectly inside and is extremely durable) EDH deck with room for perhaps 5-players (matt outside) At most, ten more cards. br>br>The dice tray is fantastic; it holds a lot of dice and is tall enough for spin-off games. downs. br>br>Nice tight fit between all three pieces; won't fall apart in your bag or if dropped. It's not too tight, and it's not difficult to open. br>br>Color coordinates with the dice I received:
D6's: If only I could find some decent matching sleeves to go with it.
This is the third time I've built a satin tower. These boxes are fantastic. These boxes are the best I've ever used for Magic: the Gathering; they're sturdy, long-lasting, and dependable. It's great that it has a bottom tray compartment where I can keep my dice. The card storage is fantastic as well. I just wanted to see if it would fit my double-sleeved decks with room to spare, as well as two 60-card single-sleeved decks. Holding commander decks in your hands is a breeze. This is a deck box that I strongly recommend. Price, durability, and quality are all unbeatable. In the future, I plan to purchase more. Any card player will appreciate this soft.
The lid on this one is a little tight, but with more use, it should become easier to open. At the very least, I'm confident that the lid won't come loose and spill cards all over the place. The bottom section opens and closes easily.
br> This is what I use for Magic: I'm a huge fan of The Gathering FNM and this tower in particular. I keep my 60-card deck and sideboard in one container, which can hold up to 100 sleeved cards. If you don't want to bother with a separate dice bag, the bottom compartment is perfect for holding your spin down dice and glass tokens. The deck box is very sturdy and will not pop open, so you won't have to worry about spilling your valuable cards and dice all over the place, even if you shake it a lot! (Which I did test. ) I'm so pleased with this tower deck box that I've ordered two more for future decks. This is something I would strongly recommend to anyone looking to store and protect their credit cards.
Fits precon commander decks that are sleeved. Dice and other small items can be stored in the compartment below.
This is a fantastic box for storing cards - The box is well built and has a secure lid. I'm using it for a roleplaying game rather than a collectible card game, and I like how the bottom has a storage tray for dice, counters, and other small items. I'd buy it again. I did, in fact - It's the second time I've done it.
