We've had days and days of rain in North Carolina, and everything has remained very dry. I did some yard work today and everything was fine; there was no sign of moisture. This is a cover that I would purchase again.

We haven't opened or closed since last summer. It was only for the purpose of covering the box on our deck outside. Let's see what the vendor has to say about this item's LIFETIME GUARANTEE. In any case, I would not recommend this product because it does not last or perform as expected.
It's waterproof, for starters. Cons: It's flimsy and easily torn. I'm terrible at writing product reviews. But one of the reasons is that I enjoy waiting to see how a product performs. Then life gets in the way, and I don't get around to it. I'm currently searching Amazon for a replacement for this product, which I literally ripped (not this review, where I figuratively but not falsely ripped the cover). Something more durable and tear-resistant is what I'm looking for. tenacious.
If I buy this product and it's only been in the sun for a couple of months, it's already fading horribly, and I'm hoping it keeps its claim of being weather and rain resistant. I live in a snowy area, and for the price of this product, I'm surprised at how well it's holding up after two months in the sun. I would not recommend purchasing this product because it is of poor quality. Update: It's been 9 months in Wisconsin, and there hasn't been a heavy snowfall, so this thing needs to be thrown out. Don't buy, don't squander your cash!.
The cover faded and became quite brittle after 6 months of use in Alabama, to the point where trying to pull it up ripped the corner fabric. I've owned other covers, and anything like this that is exposed to the sun for an extended period of time will eventually deteriorate. However, I expected this product to last longer than 6 months, and I would not recommend it.
I have four of these covers, two of which are in direct sunlight almost all of the time. I don't treat them badly, and the zippers have held up to normal wear and tear. My oldest child (1 year old) ripped a seam between the top and side materials. I went to the website and contacted the customer service representative about the situation. I'm pleased to report that the item was replaced within a day of communication. Sorry if anyone else had a bad experience in the comments. I appreciate the fact that the company stood behind their warranty.
There was no odor, no musty or damp edges, and nothing else. I STRONGLY RECOMMEND IT.
- br>It's very well made and fits perfectly in my deck box. When you need to access the box while the cover is on, the zippered top piece comes in handy. It has nice cinch straps on both ends, as well as elastic that can be tucked under the legs. br>br>A recent rainstorm with massive winds demonstrated the effectiveness of this cover - There was not a single drop of water inside, and the cover remained completely closed. This is one of those books that I can't recommend highly enough.
Since August of this year, we've been utilizing this product. The sides have dried out after a little more than a year. Front corners have ripped and side grommets have rusted as a result of the rotting. On the sides, the fabric appears to be ripstop nylon. Stop, but it's far too thin, has insufficient UV protection, and the color is fading. The silver top material, on the other hand, is thicker, has held up well, and the deck box contents have remained dry and insect-free. While researching other covers, I discovered that the zippered top, which was the main reason I bought this cover, appears to be unique to this product; as a result, I'll reluctantly buy it again.
This is a fantastic product. I bought one for a smaller Keter box and put it on my larger Keter box to see how it worked. It fit! It doesn't go all the way to the bottom, which I don't mind. I live in the Chicago area, and this is exactly what I need to get through our snowy, windy, and filthy winters. Because dirt and critters will get in through the top of the box, this fits snugly over and around it. It also has cord adjusters on both ends to keep it in place! I also like the idea of having to open the box without having to remove the entire lid. Simply open the top hatch and you're in! This is a seriously well-thought-out product, and I can't wait to see how everything turned out in the spring. AND. Even if the boxes claim not to fade, sunfading is always a problem. The covers will ensure that the boxes remain in good condition.
