Suncast 99 Gallon Resin Wicker Patio Outdoor Storage Container for Toys, Furniture Deck box, Mocha

To store our patio furniture cushions, we purchased this Suncast storage box in the fall. All of our cushions fit in this box, which includes two chairs and one sofa. It performs admirably in this regard. It kept our cushions dry throughout the winter, despite the fact that there was a lot of rain and snow. We did have some ants make a home inside this spring, but we were able to get rid of them with some ant killer. There is no fault on the part of the manufacturer. It's simple to put together (but keep in mind that it won't come apart once it's done). And it's strong! The dogs in the photo are a total of 160 pounds. They use this box as their look-out point and get on and off it several times a day. outpost for chasing rabbits around the yard They repeatedly jump off it. They also take advantage of the opportunity to sunbathe.

This box was purchased to store the cushions for our outdoor patio furniture. I put it together myself after we got it today! I took my time, worked slowly, and listened to the instructions carefully. I kept returning to the instructions to double-check that I had the right pieces: There's a front, a back, and everything in between. I wish the pieces had been labeled with the letters that corresponded to the directions: A, B, C, and D are the four letters that make up the letters A, B, C, and D I didn't see the letters if they were there, and I looked for them. Oh well. In any case, it took me about 30 minutes to complete. It took 45 minutes to assemble the box. I love how it turned out, and it fits all 12 of our 24x24 chair cushions perfectly. There are eight cushions sitting side by side in the picture of the inside of the box, followed by four more stacked on top of each other. It was also unnecessary for me to "cram" the pillows into the box. In addition, the lid closes perfectly. I'm not sure how well this box will withstand the elements here in Colorado. I've sat on top of the closed box, which is also quite sturdy. Throughout the year, I can easily imagine family and friends sitting on top of the box for additional seating. The box looks great on our patio and complements our brown wicker/resin furniture perfectly.

There are no instructions anywhere in the packaging. In addition, all of the "hardware" was missing from the box, with the exception of the long bar we "assumed" was for the hinge. This could have happened to other reviewers as well, I believe. In light of this, To get the rod to fit and be used as a hinge, we had to drill holes all the way around the back of the lid. When it comes to putting everything together, there is definitely a specific order that must be followed. B/C it's extremely difficult to separate them without cracking or breaking the plastic once they've been put together. We later discovered that the box should have included hinge pins and screws to attach the lid arm (which would have been useful). However, because there was no hardware or instructions included, we made do with what we had. We're not sure if it'll keep water out, but it'll do for the time being. It takes far too much effort to disassemble and return it. Here is a link to the manual in case you order it. It's possible that hinge pins or bolts will need to be ordered. Good luck, but make sure you read the directions first.

Sturdy and well-built - and it appears to be able to withstand the "elements. ".

This is crap. Simple plastic zip ties serve as hinges. I received a 5-star rating. The product comes with a one-year warranty, and I'm willing to bet my house that I'll have to use it for this. I'm disappointed, and I wish I had purchased the second box when I had the opportunity!.

These deck boxes are one of my favorites. Because I don't have a garage, I used to store outdoor furniture in the backyard during the winter. I eventually decided to buy two of these boxes, one for my lower deck and the other for my upper deck. One arrived damaged, and Amazon quickly dispatched a replacement before the damaged one could be returned. It took about 10 minutes to put together and was fairly simple. I keep cushions, outdoor tools, grill equipment, and other items in them; they appear to be waterproof, but I decided to buy the covers anyway, and I recently purchased a third box. I loved shopping online because my car is so small that one of these boxes would never fit in it. Couldn't be more pleased! One thing to keep in mind is that the price seems to fluctuate a little, so if you see it for $88 it's probably the best deal. It's only 00, so go ahead and purchase it. I think I paid around $99 for it.
