For the past few years, I've purchased this product a number of times because it's such a great product. The birds seem to eat it up, so I constantly need to replenish the supply. I was completely shocked when I received the refill this year. Specifically I received a very thin rendition of the nesting material I'd received in the past. After spending so much money, I would have expected more. The next time I order this product, I won't make the same mistake. The package I purchased was the only one I purchased. Songbird Essentials is no longer a favorite brand for me based on this picture. It shows HALF of a bag of a different brand (cheaper) offered on Amazon versus the unopened package of this product.

Rather than a wire cage, all I got this time was a very thin sheet of the same stuff I put in the wire cage before. A bird got to it, and it easily fell out of the holes because it was too easy for it to be pulled out in large strands when it came to take it.
