This is compatible with my DeWalt 60V Max chainsaw.
This is a replacement for my Milwaukee M18 chainsaw, which I purchased previously. I've already used the replacement blade on two occasions. It's the right size. It doesn't, however, cut as quickly as the Milwaukee blade that came with the machine. For 6 months of abuse, the Milwaukee blade consistently provided fast cutting - The OEM lasted a lot longer, even when it came into contact with dirt. From the start, this replacement was a struggle. Steaming vs. boiling was a common battleground. As the OEM did, it cut like butter. It is, without a doubt, less expensive. I, on the other hand, cut down healthy, young trees. wood that is neither dry nor rotten.
I contacted the Oregon Chainsaw Company, and they were extremely accommodating. They also matched a bar to my EGO 16" 56 volt battery operated chainsaw. The two together worked really well for me. Instead of using the stock chainsaw chain, I recommend using this combination. If you can't get the stock combo sharp enough or to your liking, try the Oregon difference! I discovered a much faster cut and larger chips of wood flying off the chain, which made my soul and face happy. Oh, finally, I'll be able to finish some of this work in a reasonable amount of time. In comparison, the stock combination was slow. I am confident that the upgrade will be beneficial to you. Learn how to properly sharpen the chain, as well as how to level the safety links. That is what will keep you safe and allow you to continue at the proper speed. Buy!.
R56 chain is compatible with my Ego 16" saw and has performed admirably thus far.
The package was opened and repackaged after it had been opened. The chain was still sharp, but it had become a little soiled. It was most likely a misplaced order that was returned. The price is reasonable, and the quality remains excellent.
I bought this to replace the chain that came with my Milwaukee M18 Chainsaw, which had been cutting very slowly since it was purchased. Because it has good power, I was hoping that a better chain would improve performance, and there is a noticeable difference. The saw is convenient and, in some cases, superior to my Stihl, and it now cuts hardwood like butter. No, you won't be able to process a lot of firewood with it, but it can easily drop and section a few trees. This chain is much better!.
This chainsaw is a beast! I'm not a chainsaw expert, but I do a lot of wood chopping, so I have one. I was under the impression that I needed to use a chain made by the same company that made my saw. This was suggested by a friend, and wow, what a difference it made! It isn't the easiest to set up, but it has significantly reduced the time it takes my saw to cut through a log while also reducing kickback. It's razor-sharp, and it shows no signs of dulling after processing a cord of wood. br>br>I will definitely be buying this brand in the future.
It's the perfect size for my Makita battery-powered little chainsaw. br>Does appear to dull fairly quickly, but to be honest, this is my first chainsaw, and I'm cutting up some nice dense walnut into wood turning blanks both with and against the grain, so I have no idea if the short life for the edges is normal for chains, or if the type of wood, or if my usage is the cause. It only takes 5 minutes with a nice Stihl sharpening jig to restore the edge. Highly recommended. br>br>.
