I'm pretty sure it'd work, but I haven't tried it yet. The charger converts a c to a DC voltage. Because the incoming voltage is within the proper range, I don't believe the frequency has any effect on the DC output. Instead of 25 minutes, charging could take up to 30 minutes.
Yes, the smaller compact 20v battery charges in about an hour, give or take 5 to 10 minutes depending on how much charge is left in the battery. It will take a little more than an hour to charge the larger 20v battery, depending on how much charge is still left in the battery. Because the charger that came with the batteries can take up to 4 hours to charge a single battery, I recently purchased this charger. This charger will serve you well, especially if you use the batteries frequently on the job and require them to be charged quickly. I hope this information is useful to you.
Is it possible to use this charger with a PCC 620 TYPE 1 POWER TOOL and a PCC 682 TYPE 4 20V LITHIUM battery? If not, please specify which charger this PCC 620 TYPE 1 POWER TOOL should be used with. THANKS
It comes with a quick 2-minute charging time. rate of charge in amps

When renovating my grandmother's house in September 2017, I purchased this to quickly charge battery packs with a stock charger, two on, two off. I think I got about a half-dozen uses from it. I went to use it to charge a few battery packs yesterday (July 8, 2018) after not using it for a few months, and as soon as I plug it in with nothing attached, a rapid flashing read light appears. A rapidly flashing red light now indicates a bad battery pack, according to the manual and the icon on the front. To be clear, this occurs when the charger is empty and there is _nothing_ in the charging slot. When it worked, it did exactly what it was supposed to do. However, given that it cost more than $40 at the time, I consider a failure within a year (after six months of non-use) to be unacceptable. Sadly, without the factory-installed 20v lithium-ion battery, I'm not aware of any other option besides an ion charger.
Porter Cable's "Rapid" charger (PCC692L) has received a positive review.
I noticed that when the charge light (on the charger) stops blinking (indicating a full charge), the battery isn't quite full, if you remove the battery from This charger is described as a "maintenance style" charger that "continues to tune-up" according to the operating instructions. After the rapid charging is complete, the cells are "rebalanced," so you should be able to leave the battery in the charger 24/7/365 as long as the charger is plugged into a wall socket. However, I don't recommend it because theory and reality don't always operate on the same wavelength. br>FYI,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,.
Porter, you're very nice, but sheesh. You can't even provide a way for a guy to attach it to a bench or a wall, Cable? Even my venerable B There is a "thru-hole" in the D 24v charger. to make a "hole" for it to be mounted in. It now takes two hands to click in the battery to charge it; One to keep the battery in place and the other to keep the charging base in place. Ugh.
I'm a contractor who used Porter Cable for a while before switching to Dewalt, and I bought this fast charger in the hopes of competing with the Dewalt, but I was disappointed. I suppose you get what you pay for; the Dwalts are more expensive, and it's possible that my batteries were to blame, but it didn't seem to charge as quickly. After years of heavy use in construction, my porter cable batteries have failed. This appears to be an excellent choice for a homeowner in need of a trustworthy tool set. My porter cable tools are still working fine; it's just that the batteries couldn't keep up with the constant contractor use. in any case, this is my take.
This model is a fast charger that outperforms the flimsy charger that Porter Cable now includes with its products. My only gripe is that there are no mounting slots on the bottom of the charger, so I can't hang it up. I suppose the Chinese engineers are attempting to retaliate in small ways against us.
There isn't much of a difference between this charger and the one included with the tools.
My Porter Cable drill likes it a lot. I only needed a charger because the Pack and Load employees had left the drill at my house.
I'm always happy. Almost all of the Porter Cable 20v MAX tools have duplicates and triplicates. We use them on a daily basis, both on our homestead farm and in our furniture-making business. This is the third Rapid Charger I've bought. They've always made me happy, and this one is no exception.
