"Builders World Wholesale Distribution" should be renamed. Also, "Milwaukee's" should not be confused with Milwaukee. Unless the "s" was added by accident by Amazon.
When I get the code, it's already been over a year since it was issued.
Yes, the batteries can be recharged.
Yes, you are permitted to fly with them. They must travel in your carry-on bag, not your checked luggage! Individually wrapping them is all that's required. I store them in a clear ziplock bag and have never had an issue with them. I've traveled with them dozens of times for work, both domestically and internationally. However, the number of them you can bring with you is limited by the airline. I've flown with four of them on American airlines.
Selected User Reviews For Milwaukee 48-11-1852 M18 REDLITHIUM XC 5.0 Ah Extended Capacity Battery (2 pack)
I assumed that the Amazon ad stated (2 pack), which meant an OEM retail blister 2 pack. The batteries were apparently shipped in the OEM retail pack at one point, according to photos in the reviews. That is no longer the case. My order arrived yesterday, with the batteries packaged in plastic bags and mailed via USPS in a soft mailer. There is no blister pack, no Milwaukee paperwork, and only two batteries are included. So, are they brand new or have they been refurbished? There's no way to know for sure. They appear to be new, and both charged normally, but I've only had time to put them through a light test, so the ad should be updated to reflect this.
What I received was not what I expected. These batteries were advertised as being sold by Milwaukee and an Amazon Choice battery, but they did not deliver what was promised. It was disappointing.
I was concerned that I would receive refurbished or counterfeit batteries. The batteries arrived in their original Milwaukee packaging and were in perfect condition. They charged quickly and appear to be in perfect working order!.
My three-year-old batteries last much longer and hold a charge.
I received these batteries and charged them fully before using them. I then waited for them to cool down before using them. I was removing lug nuts from a 10-speed transmission with a 3/4" impact. truck with a tonnage limit Before the wrench simply stopped working, I had almost completed the first two axles. I switched to the other battery, thinking the first had died, and resumed my work. I got through three wheels before the last one abruptly stopped working. So I go to charge them up, and the charger turns green right away. The lowest level light blinks a few times when I press the battery's power check button. When I try to charge the other battery, it flashes red and green on the charger. The light flashes a few times before shutting off when I press the battery's button. Both batteries have stopped working and are not charging. I looked up this problem on Google and YouTube and found some potential solutions, but my neighbor says those solutions rarely work. I just got these batteries yesterday, so I'm going to return them and get a refund. br>br>The return process is a letdown, especially for a product that breaks after just a few hours of use. Return shipping is not free, and if the product is defective, there is a restocking fee. So that's a bit of a stumbling block. Perhaps it would be better if you could find batteries from a different distributor than Pro Distributing. br>br>The Milwaukee tools themselves are incredible; Torque is insane, but the batteries are unreliable at best and potentially lethal at worst, according to other reviews.
a longer run- times. These 5. 0s are some of the best bang-for-your-buck options. for- your- On the market are buck batteries. Each one is one pound in weight. 6 pounds. I have several Milwaukee M18 tools, and these batteries last much longer than XC or compact batteries. This 5 circular saw has more torque than my 6 1/2 circular saw. When ripping plywood sheets for subfloors or roof sheathing, start at 0 and work your way up. My drills last for entire workdays before needing to be recharged. The jobsite radio can keep playing music from sunrise to sunset without draining the battery. Even after TWO work days (driving structural fasteners 4 and 6 inch and pre-drilling holes), I have yet to drain one of these in my Fuel impact wrench. drilling and boring holes in all kinds of wood, plywood, and beams). Since the battery race began, these are the highest-quality batteries I've worked with. I'm now the proud owner of a "High Demand" 9. 0 battery, which I recently used for 45 minutes on high in my compact blower; as well as number nine There was still a bar of charge left in the 0 battery. The H. At 2, 0 is unquestionably a "BEAST" of a battery. 4 pounds.
Why pay retail prices for a single battery when you can get two for the same price here?! The product is identical to what is available on the market. I was a little sceptical at first, assuming 5. Batteries with a capacity of 0 ah would be repackaged from a larger bundle. nope! It came in that annoying bulletproof manufacturer display shelf plastic that, if you're not careful, can slice your hands open. I suppose it was a welcome sight.
For bulb planting and annual and perennial transplants, I use augers on my drill. These 5. 0 amp lithium batteries allow me to dig for an hour or longer while a helper [or wife] plants nearby, and they recharge quickly. I'm out of excuses for coffee breaks at this point. I can work for half a day without recharging with these two and the original two that came with the drill. Of course, these 5 amp batteries are heavy, but I find that the weight is beneficial because it eliminates the need to lean [push] on the drill. I did some price comparisons as well. A pair of 3 amp batteries were on special sale for $1 at a local "big box" store. 00 more than I paid on Amazon for a pair of 5 amp batteries. Thank you for your time, Builders World. Now, could you send some extra helpers who won't run out of battery power before the batteries do?.
