This is the third time I've received a Dewalt battery. When I first got them, the first two wouldn't charge. I exchanged the first two because Amazon's return policy is excellent. They couldn't be charged with any battery. Even after I ran them through my chargers a few times. When it came to the third battery, I knew there had to be a simple solution because the chances of receiving three bad batteries in a row from different sellers were pretty slim. As a result, I Googled the problem and found a video as the first result. When I first saw it, I felt like a complete moron! THE BATTERY MUST BE INSTALLED IN THE CHARGER! All of my other butteries would charge, and I was completely unaware of the click. I sincerely hope that this information is useful to others.
These batteries are completely useless. I paid $130 for two of them. 00 US dollars Your tools will not be able to run on them. I had to replace one as part of the exchange program, and it was also junk. These batteries are only capable of charging to a maximum of 17 volts. The voltage is 5 volts direct current (DC). Your tool will not run for very long if you do this. I have three older batteries that can be charged to a maximum of 20 volts. The voltage is 5 volts direct current (DC). These are the ones who will run your tools. You'll save $130 by doing so. I'm out $130 because I was duped. 00 US dollars.
After only one use, it stopped working. On the 22nd of February, 2019, I received my package. It worked for a short period of time and then stopped. I emailed warrantyquestions@amazon. com and they said they wouldn't charge me. br> In the first week of April, com will be launched. 2019 The following is the response: br>"We looked into your recent request for a copy of the DEWALT 20V MAX Battery, Premium 4's manufacturer's warranty. 0Ah (DCB204), but we haven't been able to locate the manufacturer's warranty information for this product; you may want to contact the manufacturer for more information"br>br>I'm having trouble reaching out to anyone who can help me here.
***JULY 18, 2020*** UPDATED. After a lot of use on my compact sawzall cutting body panels off cars at the junkyard for project cars, it still works great. br>br>Update: I should have bought two the first time around. br>br> July 18, 2020br>I've had this battery since August of last year, and I've never had an issue with it losing charge or dying quickly, but about a month ago the screws at the bottom began to fall out. I eventually lost one, and the other gradually faded away. The case cracked and eventually broke off as a result of this. When I had the other screw in my tool bag, I bent it. However, it only bowed because it was backed out. When pressing the button today, July 18, 2020, the light indicators do not show the charge level. It still works, but there are no bars and it is broken. br>br>For these reasons, I'm downgrading my rating from 5 to 2.
I have a couple of DeWalt tools that use low-capacity batteries. I decided to purchase a DeWalt string trimmer because I already had the charger and two smaller batteries. It was suggested that you purchase a battery with a higher capacity. With plenty of power, this single battery charger can easily trim a 1/2-acre property and numerous garden borders. When I first bought it, charging it took three hours. It ran the trimmer for 45 minutes without stopping after being fully charged. After this use, I recharged it, and it took about 75 minutes to fully recharge. So far, everything has gone well. I've used it to trim three times now with no problems; it's a pricey battery, so I'm hoping it lasts beyond the warranty period.
It's a genuine Dewalt 4 amp-hour battery. It is, without a doubt, a five-star product!! It's in my drill, hammerdrill, impact, blower, sawzall, grinder, 6 1/2 saw, and flashlight, among other things. It performs admirably! If I take care of it and don't expose it to extreme temperatures, I'm confident it will last a long time. Without a doubt, Dewalt produces some of the best tools on the planet! I've always purchased Dewalt products, and they've never let me down, so I'll keep doing so.
It's highly unlikely that this is an unused/original product (as I paid for).
This was purchased to replace a 5 that had stopped working. Because it was a better value for only a slight reduction in battery capacity, I went with the 0 Ah battery. In real-world use, I haven't noticed any difference in battery life, so I'm satisfied with my purchase. I was enticed by the positive feedback on non-fiction books. Dewalt batteries, but I chose the genuine Dewalt over the non-Dewalt because of the negative reviews on the non-Dewalt. Dewalt batteries can be a little frightening. When using and/or charging Dewalt batteries, I have faith that they will not catch fire.
