We broke our first battery charger after only a few uses, so it's now held together with crazy glue. It's too bad they can't produce higher-quality products because, as I previously stated, they have some fantastic tool ideas. But, then again, I suppose that's their corporate goal, i. e. , produce lower-cost goods for a niche market.

This battery is something I'm glad I bought. I was planning on buying a cheaper alternative brand battery, but after doing some research, I decided against it. It was discovered that cheaper batteries will fail in a few months to a year, and that spending the extra money for the B batteries is recommended. D batteries are used. I've been using it to power my electric leaf blower and electric weed eater for about a month now. My lawn isn't particularly large, so this will suffice for about an hour of non-stop fun. When the weather gets hot, you should stop using it. I used to share one battery for both, which meant I could only take one of them in two days (due to overnight charging).

I have a hedge trimmer and a string trimmer, and the batteries never seem to last long enough. After about a year of use, the first charger stopped working, and I swear I had the second charger somewhere, but I can't find it. br>In my search for a replacement, I discovered that I could get the charger and a spare battery for less money than the charger alone. That must say something about the battery's quality, right? I'm not sure, but I'm hoping to locate the other charger as soon as possible. The good news is that I now have four batteries in total, and I've figured out how to tell when they're running low on power and simply swap them out before they die.

Although this is a good product, the batteries never last very long when in use. Each time you use them, they lose a little of their power. I'll need two batteries to get through about an hour of weeding.

But there was one thing I had to learn: just because the battery slides into the compressor slot and locks into place, doesn't mean it's secure. It must then be jammed into place in order for it to work. Hopefully, that will save someone else the two days it took for this grandmother to figure it out. Aside from that, this charger comes highly recommended.

D blower for leaves After ten to twelve years of light use, that battery failed. I don't know if that's a good thing or a bad thing. The new one performs similarly to the old one, and I was able to confirm that the previous battery's failure was due to the battery rather than the charger.
