I got my trimmer today, exactly as promised, and I'm very happy with it. I couldn't see what the issue was with the product's assembly, but it took me longer to remove it from its well-protected packaging. Within 5 minutes of removing the packaging, Without having to open the instruction manual, I had the shield and handle on in 10 minutes. After looking through the manual, I realized what I needed to do. It's only six screws in total, so it can't be that difficult. br>The photos depict what was accomplished in a 30-minute period. It will take 45 minutes. It even hacked through the ground cover and oak tree branches along the driveway. The juniper bushes next to the house were quickly mowed down. br>As for the machine's weight, you did buy it with a two-foot bar, so it's no more than a gas-powered hedge trimmer and a lot lighter than most chainsaws. br>I currently own three Worx products and plan to purchase more as I require them.
What brand do I prefer or trust, what voltage should I use, and what tools will be available on that platform? Before you invest in cordless tools, think about whether you want a jumble of different types and voltage batteries and chargers cluttering up your workspace, not to mention the additional cost of not standardizing your system. br>Worx did an excellent job of making that E Z to decipher. They appear to think outside the box when it comes to creating great tools, making them more practical, and allowing them to accomplish more. br>This is an excellent example of the thought that goes into their tools so that you get the most bang for your buck! br>At this point, I'm willing to take two - Combine the 20v batteries from a hand drill with the 40v power of this trimmer for outdoor work! What's even better is that I can use the same batteries I use in my hand drill to power cordless out door tools. Unlike my old electric trimmer, which simply shredded its way through 3/4in branches, this has the power to cut through them with a clean and crisp cut. br>I'll be buying more from Worx in the future, and I hope you'll give it a try as well; you'll be glad you did.
WORX WG255 was my purchase. 1 20V 20" Cordless Trimmer (B010RV3MT2), which works well except that my hedges (Texas Rangers and Junipers) are getting large enough that the trimmer battery required three charges to complete the job, the reach across has gotten wider, and the sticks I tried to lop off have gotten thicker. So I bought this one (used, Amazon Warehouse Deals, great price) to replace the trimmer above, and it looks like it came from Harbor Fright. To get 40 volts, you'll need two 20V batteries connected in series, and it comes with a twin charger that's fairly quick. Those batteries have lights that indicate how much charge they have. They might or might not work correctly, but I don't see the point in such nonsense. Despite the fact that this larger trimmer requires two batteries to operate, the batteries in both trimmers appear to be interchangeable.
I own a number of WORX tools, all of which I consider to be extremely durable and perform above and beyond expectations. However. This trimmer appears to be quite large and heavy. It's too heavy to handle because it's bulky. I guess I didn't notice that both batteries are required for operation. I was under the impression that the second battery was for backup. The dual charger is a useful feature, particularly if you have other WORX tools in your garage. br>You are going to get a full upper-body workout. While using this trimmer, you will get a full-body workout. br>Apart from that, it gets the job done!.
It was ready to tackle my entire 60 ft once the batteries had been charged. two 8-foot hedges Jasmine trellises that are tall and powerful. I initially thought the swivel rear handle was an unnecessary gimmick, but after using it, I discovered it to be a very useful feature. My loud, difficult-to-start gas trimmer is no longer with me.
This Worx hedge trimmer included two batteries as well as a two-battery charger. It requires both batteries to be used at the same time, but the batteries are identical to two others I already own for my string trimmer and blower. All of their batteries are compatible with all of my tools, which is a good thing. It gives all of my Works tools such a wide range of applications, and the hedge trimmer itself is more than adequate for the job.
This is the third Worx Powershare tool I've purchased (along with a mower). blower), and so far I've enjoyed the entire series. The only disadvantage, which I consider minor and hardly worth mentioning, is that this model, which accommodates two 20V batteries, is a little on the heavy side; if this is an issue for you, consider the single battery model. The extra power, longer bar, and deeper cutting teeth appeal to me. The charge lasts longer than any other job I've done before, and I'm able to hack my way through some pretty tough bushes. trees of a certain size For my next Worx tool purchase, I've set my sights on a chain saw.
A cordless trimmer was a must-have item for me. I had a lot of trouble cutting the power cable with my previous trimmer. One cord in particular seemed to be getting shorter with each passing year. It was time to stop. I already had a string trimmer and a blower, so this trimmer was a no-brainer for me. It has turned out to be my favorite piece of gear! br>br>It's pretty simple right out of the box: clip in the safety switch handle and screw in four Phillips screws. After removing two screws and installing the shield, you're ready to go. The charger is a nice two-slot quick charger. In the back, there are also wall punts. br>br>Within a couple of hours, I was removing the excess. This thing appears to be frightening at first glance. The arm is long and the teeth are gnarly. But it's as smooth as butter. Hedges, spruce trees, weeds and grass, and voluntary trees were all fine with me. It simply vanished! The handle rotates nicely, and the trigger is simple and natural to use. br>br>By the time it was finished, it had gotten a little heavy, but battery life was never an issue. br>br>It's a must-have!.
