There is no power source available.
There's got to be a blunder somewhere. It was written in English for mine.
Only that it should work with the 18v One battery system is all I know. A P118 charger is in my possession. I have a variety of One batteries, all of which work, but my favorites are the 4Ah (medium size) batteries.
I didn't weigh it, but it's around 12 pounds with the battery. It's well-balanced for left- or right-handed operation.

I just got my trimmer and discovered that it doesn't come with a battery or a charger. Because it shows one attached, the image is deceiving. It should be noted in the title that the battery and charger are sold separately. I would have ordered both at the same time, but I didn't notice until now that it says so in the Product description's last sentence. I didn't notice it because it was small print and I didn't scroll all the way down. This needs to be stated right up front.
There's nothing wrong with it except that I have to lug around a 100' extension cord that I cut by accident. As a result, I made the decision to look into my options. This 18v trimmer did an excellent job of trimming our shrubs, and I used it with my 6ah battery, which allowed me to complete all of the landscaping bushes in one charge. I have several of the One tools and compatible batteries, so this was a natural expansion of my tool set. Trimmer worked fine, saved time, and made it easy to use because there was no extension cord. The plastic guard that protects the trimming edge, as well as the handy notch where the battery goes in the trimmer that allows you to hang the trimmer from a nail/screw, were both features that I appreciated. I would strongly recommend this to anyone looking for a hedge trimmer (I wish the leaf blower and string trimmers had that feature).
I returned it and ordered a 22" one because it wasn't up to the task. The trimmer with a 22" blade is up to the task!.
It has plenty of power for a hedge trimmer and is extremely maneuverable due to the lack of a cord; I've used it both with and without the removable orange plastic guard and found no difference in performance. The most important piece of advice I can give is to have at least two fours. Because larger motors (trimmers, saws, and impact tools) consume a lot of power, use 0 amp hour or larger batteries; don't use "little batteries. ".
Although this is a good product, I am disappointed that it does not include a battery. Until you read the detailed description, it gives no indication of this. Even in the picture, a battery can be seen. It should be written in the same way as the others: "tool only. " " I'm not sure how I'm going to rate battery life. when there isn't one included. Because I didn't use the one that came with the product, it wouldn't be accurate! br>br>I've previously used and enjoyed this product, which is why I bought it. It's a little heavy and not the most maneuverable, but it gets the job done.
It worked right out of the box, and if you've used edgers before, it's very intuitive. Lightweight, with functional rotation at the grip, it cuts through hedges with ease, even limbs as small as a finger. The long reach of this blade, combined with the lack of a chord, made trimming tall hedges a breeze. There aren't any serious issues. br>br>reason for 4 instead of 5 stars: On Amazon, it's a bit pricey. I believe that the 80$ range, or if it came with a battery for 115 or a bit more, would be more appropriate for battery hedge clippers. br>Battery drain is noticeable when compared to other tools (drills, saws, etc. ). Not a bad drain at all; plenty of juice to work a decent-sized yard; however, I have the larger battery, and the indicator showed a 1 bar drop after the first use. I could saw planks for half an hour before losing power while trimming hedges for ten minutes. I am still pleased with my purchase.
I frequently repurpose and test the limits of my tools. This is exemplified by these hedge cutters. My driveway is a single lane up a hill (hills are all there are where I live!). It's about a third of a mile long. Brush and small trees have overgrown the road to the point where they must be cut back in order to avoid scratching and damaging any passing vehicles. The UPS delivery van, I'm sure, dreads coming to see you. I just finished dealing with this issue a few days ago. The hedge cutter worked flawlessly, effortlessly slicing through branches and small trees that were too small for the cutters. I've used the cutter to cut tall grass that a mower couldn't reach. I haven't trimmed our poodle yet, but it's on my mind! It's a fantastic trimmer, to be sure. It can cut up to a 3/4-inch branch, and the Ryobi battery lasts for about 30 minutes even if you keep your hand on the trigger. The guard isn't very useful to me, and I've only used the rotating handle in emergency situations, but this unit is well worth the money.
It is cordless, uses the same Ryobi battery as my other Ryobi tools, and has a good balance in my hands, so it is not difficult to use. love it!.
