It isn't difficult in any way. The front guard and the handle that goes right behind it are the only two pieces that need to be put together. The guard snaps into place, and the handle snaps into place before being secured with the trimmer's two screws. Because the two ends of the handle only match with the unit in one direction, it will only fit on the trimmer one way. The same can be said for the guard.
I am a 50-year-old woman who is capable of operating the Worx WG261 20-volt trimmer. It's not overly heavy.

Here's what my wife had to say about it:br>br>I bought this after reading the review here from the 68-year-old woman. year- woman in her eighties I reasoned that if she could use it, I could as well. I'm in my forties, but I'm lazy, short, and despise yardwork. I live on a small farm, and I often think that if I really want some greenery trimmed back, I can adopt a goat. However, the path between my house and my barn, as well as my driveway, have recently become overgrown with blackberries and other bushes and trees. Not only do I dislike being smacked in the face by bushes, but our garbage collection company has told us that we must trim our driveway so that their truck does not get scratched. I figured I'd have to do some trimming because I don't have time for a goat right now. "There has to be a better way!" I thought as I stared in despair at my manual clippers. " (exactly like a dummy in an infomercial. ) So I went to Amazon and did some research and came up with this little number. br>br>Anything more difficult to use than an electric toothbrush was out. I didn't want to deal with cords, gas, or reading directions. I didn't want anything cumbersome or difficult to carry. This was exactly what I was looking for. I charged the battery and put on my safety goggles before heading out. This trimmer was extremely lightweight and simple to operate. It allows you to change directions and hands at will, and it effortlessly cuts through bushes. I even had no trouble cutting through some fairly large branches (greater than 3/4 inch in diameter). I used it for 45 minutes and it remained fully charged. It's actually a lot of fun whacking stuff with this tool. So, if you're: br>br>

- If you don't like being smacked in the face by bushes in your own backyard, this is the place to be. br>- You don't want to be yelled at for scratching someone's garbage truck with your bushes, do you?br>- Are you unable to adopt your own goats due to a lack of time?br>br> If that's the case, this trimmer is for you! br>br>I'm not sure how well this would work for someone who is strong, tall, and motivated, but I can't say from personal experience. A big thumbs up from me!.
This hedgetrimmer is a godsend if you're single and do a lot of your own gardening. It's only 5 pounds, so it's fairly light. it is simple to use When it was turned on, there was very little vibration, and it was quite quiet for its size. It has excellent cutting ability. It easily cut through branches ranging from 1/2 inch to 3/4 inch in diameter. I wouldn't use it for anything thicker than that, though. to maintain the blade's sharpness In front of my house, I have four HUGE box bushes. They'd grown out of control. I was out there for about 20 minutes and finished the job quickly; cleanup took longer. I felt ecstatic.
. I also suffer from severe shoulder pain. Despite the fact that I was a little sore the next day. The discomfort dissipated quickly. (It doesn't help that I'm out of shape, either) Battery life has been satisfactory thus far. So far, I am extremely pleased with this hedgetrimmer, and I no longer have to rely on people to do it for me because it only comes in two pieces (guard and handle to put on). I like to spend time in the garden. a beneficial treatment.
My shrubs were trimmed for $150, according to the estimate. Instead, I purchased this, and in about an hour, I was able to trim every shrub neatly by myself. This will undoubtedly save me money in the long run. Despite having a backup battery from my Worx drill, the battery never ran out. I'm 68 and don't enjoy working outside, but this was a breeze because it's so light. I was relieved when I finished that I had not paid someone to trim my hedges. I couldn't reach the tippy tops of the old shrubs around this house, but by climbing up a small, sturdy step ladder, I was able to get a good view. I'd never had an electric tool "Parkinson's" tremor, as I later learned from the internet. So, if you're not young and in good shape, be aware that your arm or hand may shake and startle you once you've finished. It appears to be more common with electric/battery equipment, but it eventually goes away. Oh, and I needed a strong friend to help me attach the handle. All Worx tools come highly recommended from me.
I used it nonstop for about 45 minutes and it still had enough battery life to last another hour. I was cutting 1/4" diameter bush branches with this thing and it had no problems! I would highly recommend this product for any large or small application.
My Green Monster is depicted in both before and after photos. Trimming this used to take at least 45 minutes, not including clean-up time. I recently purchased a 22-inch blade trimmer, which I used for the first time this morning. Clean-up time is 25 minutes. What is the major distinction? I had to deal with an out-of-date power cord. I won't miss sawing through 120-pound bales of hay by accident. In my domestic yard care career, I used volt extension cords three times! This point should be emphasized: It's amazing how much more work the extension cord was before, and how much more work it is now. There is nothing to be concerned about. In fact, knowing how simple trimming is makes me more likely to grab this when I see a spot that needs to be cleaned up. br>br>Don't forget to charge the battery until the light turns solid green (I did it overnight). After 25 minutes of use, there was no discernible difference in performance. However, I believe I will purchase a backup battery. br>br>This is something I strongly suggest - And I'm not a tool guy in the least.
It is forbidden for me to touch the hedge. I used to have electric ones. These do a much better job of cutting and are much smoother. The battery lasted for a very long time. We've got a weed eater and a battery leaf blower. When the first weed eater broke, they didn't question us and simply sent us a replacement. They're fantastic tools.
I have a Worx cordless grass trimmer that has performed admirably for me over the past seven years. So I expected the same level of quality from this hedge trimmer. Wrong. Even on fluffy hedges, the motor is weak, and the battery only lasts about 15 minutes. It's not good enough. I returned it and replaced it with a Remington corded trimmer that performs just as well as the gas trimmers. Get yourself a Remington!.
