In Northern Arizona, we own and run a lavender microfarm. This was the first year we had a full harvest of organic essential oils to distill. My wife and I read reviews for nearly every battery operated trimmer on the market because processing 500 plants can be a backbreaking ordeal. We ultimately decided to purchase this Greenworks model along with an extra battery as an add-on purchase. br>The results are as follows: We were able to trim approximately 120 lavender plants with ease using a fully charged battery. br>The trimmer has a good balance and is easy to use. br>The ergonomic control provided by the handle and trigger is excellent. When cutting through the flower stems, I had plenty of power to spare, and the cuts were razor-sharp. br>br>With our new trimmer, we couldn't be happier. If we hadn't used the Greenworks battery-operated trimmer, harvesting all of our plants in just three days could have been a challenge.
Note: After every day's use, we'd clean the cutters with soap and water, then apply a light coat of lithium grease before the next trimming session to keep them in like-new condition.

Use this product on a new property that has a lot of hedges and ivy that has gotten out of hand. I'm an older woman, so losing weight is crucial, and this is a fantastic tool to have. I even cut down all of the ivy that had grown overgrown in my planing beds. For the various hedges I need to trim, the rotating blade is ideal. The battery life is fantastic, and I've never had to replace it.

This worked great the first few times I used it, but the last time I used it, I hit a branch it couldn't handle, and the motor froze. died. I informed the manufacturer, and they promptly sent me a replacement (which works fine, though I avoid thicker branches). They sent the replacement for free and arranged for the old one to be picked up by UPS. I have two other items from them (a chan saw and a blower), both of which work perfectly.

This has been effective on 99% of them on my 1 acre lot with all kinds of bushes and hedges. It is also a favorite of my husband's. The battery life on this device is fantastic. It has a lot of power and can easily cut branches up to 3/4-inch thick. It's simply incredible!.

It wasn't too heavy for an elderly lady, and it got rid of all the brush that was about 1/2 inch thick. I'm still on the first battery, which I've been using nonstop for several hours. I'm very pleased with the products offered by this company. Have a large battery-operated mower and a smaller cord-operated mower as well--always go for the battery-operated ones. It's a little more costly, but it's a lot easier.

For the unwary operator, the blade bite is large enough to remove a finger. Despite its length, the blade is light enough to be easily maneuvered. Three separate safeties protect the trigger, which must all be operated at the same time in order for the unit to start. This tool necessitates the use of both hands.

The battery (an original Greenworks) appeared to be completely depleted. I ended up purchasing a new charger and battery, confirming that the problem was not caused by the trimmer's cheap charger. If you order one, I recommend going over everything right away. I didn't put it together for a few months because I didn't need it until I did.

I don't have any remorse! I run out of power before the battery. It can cut through anything with a diameter of up to an inch. I have not taken care of my land as well as I should have due to the large amount of land and lack of drop cords. Until now, that is. This is fantastic. Lightweight, capable, and simple to operate. We've had it for a few months and have had no problems with it; I'd buy another Greenworks product in a heartbeat.
