I have a few Greenworks tools that run on 60 volts. All of my 60 volt batteries can be swapped out.
Yes. The Greenworks PRO 60V 2 is a two-in-one device that allows you to charge All Greenworks 60V tools will work with the 5AH HC Battery.
No, you can only use 60 volts.
I believe you've got it mixed up with the ego brand because greenworks doesn't have a 56v battery, so I'm afraid it won't work.

Happiness, they say, cannot be purchased. That person has never used a trimmer like this. This was a great addition to my lawn care tools because I already had the batteries from our lawn mower. An older corded model had to be replaced. I completed the job in half the time with this new one, and it looks even better. The longer blade makes it easier for me to keep the lines straight. I was grinning from ear to ear by the end of it because the cordless feature saved me from having to lug power cords around the yard. I was able to use it for well over an hour. I trimmed about 100 linear feet of bushes and at the end the battery still had 25% of its charge.
The power astounded me; it sliced through some thick bushes with ease. I've used it a few times, probably 20 minutes plus each time and when I went to recharge it was at 50% using the 2 amp battery at 50% using the 2 amp battery at If you're going to be using it for an extended period of time, you might want to invest in a shoulder strap, which I couldn't find. Not related to the tool, but a dual battery charger, which I couldn't find as an option, would be great to have a fully charged battery " on deck. " Overall, I'm very pleased with my purchase and would recommend it to others.
Saplings are sliced through like butter by a hot knife. (Yes, I bought it to use as a brush cutter. ) Hedgerows are not included. When working in confined spaces, the adjustable, swivel handle is extremely useful. I own and recommend the majority of the Greenworks 60 volt series tools.
For shrubs and small trees in a medium-sized yard, this trimmer is ideal. It's ideal because it's light, simple to use, and compatible with the batteries you already have.
It's in the nature of improvements to be better. br>This is the third time I've had one. The rest were taken from me. This incarnation's power level isn't as high. Using a safety trigger on the handle requires both hands. It prevents me from clipping as I have done in the past. Although I miss the previous model, this one is excellent.
It works faster and lasts longer than my previous trimmer.
The hedge trimmer gets the job done quickly and efficiently. I'm 60 years old and have a defribllator; I had no trouble using this trimmer, and it wasn't too heavy for me. I now have a hedge trimmer, lawn mower, weed eater, and leaf blower in my possession: Green Works is the source for everything. For a variety of reasons, I've never felt so fulfilled or valued.
Two batteries are already in the possession of Brother. He claims it's far superior to my 40v B.
