I charged the battery overnight after we opened the package on Christmas Day. We decided to use the hedge trimmer on our numerous hedge plants today, December 26. First and foremost, I'd like to express my admiration for the hedge trimmer's light weight and balance. I also appreciate the added security of having two trigger mechanisms to prevent mishaps. I began trimming my hedges after giving my camera to my wife. I'd already trimmed it down to a reasonable length. This was my first time cutting a hedge with a hedge trimmer. The hedge trimmer did an excellent job of trimming my hedge plants, and it was sharp and easy to use. (I am a 90-year-old woman who had a stroke in 2013. ) I've made a good recovery, but I still have some issues. ) Overall, I think the trimmer performed admirably and was simple to use. My wife (82), for whom I had purchased it, later discovered that she could handle it as well. The battery outlasted me and was still going strong after all these years. As a result, we're extremely happy with our purchase. To go along with this review, I created a video. Palatka, FL 32177, Skipjack 68.
I was pleasantly surprised by the battery life of the hedge trimmer; I had two rows of boxwood shrubs to trim and the battery was still fully charged. I'd make another purchase. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> August 2021br>After 7 months of use, this trimmer still trims well, and the battery is sufficient to handle all of the plants in both the front and back yards. In addition, I have a Kimo leaf blower, which is the tiniest I've ever seen. This trimmer was bought for my sister recently. The unit's lightness appeals to her. I used to have a corded one. She's content, and things are going well in her life.
On April 10, 2021, I purchased the trimmer for small jobs in my very small backyard, and it performed admirably the three times I used it. It wouldn't work at all when I tried to use it on July 17, 2021. I assumed the battery had depleted from sitting in the garage for several weeks, but no, the battery indicator light indicates that it is fully charged. Despite this, I plugged it into the charger, but the charger light is now green. The charger would have a red light on if the battery was charging, and once fully charged, it would change to green. So, the battery is good and fully charged, but nothing happens when I plug it into the trimmer and try to turn it on. The guarantee is valid for 90 days. The 98th day of the year has arrived. That means I'm screwed, out of luck. It's too late to send it back. br>br>UPDATE (September 7, 21): Customer service contacted me to express their regret for the issue I had with the trimmer. They sent me a brand new trimmer with the battery included, despite the fact that I only needed a replacement battery. The new battery powered both the old and new trimmers, proving that it was the battery, not the trimmer, that had failed. I used the trimmer the other day and it worked perfectly. It has made me very happy. Customer service has been given a well-deserved makeover. Definitely deserving of a five-star rating. Thank you very much for your assistance.
I have a Kimo cordless leaf blower that I really like. So I decided to take a chance on this hedge trimmer. It satisfies me completely. (I gave it five stars for batter life, but I've only had it two days, so take my word for it. ) ) I like that it's cordless, which I think makes it better than the one I have that requires an extension cord; I was looking forward to not having to get out the extension cord, but I find it easier to use without being tethered to it; and it's very light, but sturdy, which I like for trimming above my head or behind a large bush. br>br>I am very pleased with my purchase. (This product is far superior to this video in terms of quality!.
Another Kimo product I like is the blower, which has a lot of power, is lightweight, and has a long battery life. The cordless hedge trimmer is comparable in weight and battery capacity; however, it fell short of my expectations in terms of blade speed and ease of hedging, especially for anything other than new growth or very small branches. I've only used it once, so there may be a learning curve, but it handled all of my hedges well.
I like how light it is, how maneuverable it is, and how safe the handle is to use. I haven't tested the battery life yet, but I'll let you know as soon as I do. So far, I'm happy with how things are going. I'm getting on in years, so the light weight is very welcome. br>br>UPDATE: br>br> This is a lot more than I had anticipated. I used it this morning for about an hour, running it for about half of that time, and it did an excellent job cutting grass, weeds, brush, and limbs. The battery was still in good shape. It cuts smoothly and does not suffocate the grass or anything else. Although it isn't designed for grass, any such cutter is put to the test on grass, and it passes with flying colors. I'm glad I was able to obtain it.
The item delivered had only a 20" blade, despite the fact that the product description stated that it was a 24" cutting blade. When trimming above shoulder height, the "Bale's" safety switch requires two hands to operate and is clumsy to use. The plastic housing has a flimsy feel to it. My trimmer came with a "Lucky" card that promised a free spare battery in exchange for a positive video review (which I believe is one of the reasons for the trimmer's high ratings). ) I'm curious as to whether anyone received a spare battery for their review.
This battery-powered device My cordless hedge trimmer performs just as well as my corded hedge trimmer. except for the fact that I had to unroll all of my electrical cords in order to plug it in. The battery life is adequate: about 30- It will take 45 minutes. The interchangeable batteries are one of my favorite features of Kimo tools. I can charge both and then swap in a charged one when the first one runs out. There's no need to stress. In addition, I asked Kimo a question, and he responded quickly. What a feat!.
