I'm guessing it's a Milwaukee-specific issue. Because the power head is one-of-a-kind and can be used with a variety of attachments.
It would depend on the density of the grass. I live in Arizona, and the area where I use it is overgrown with weeds and has very little grass. I've gotten rid of several bunches of rabbit brush with ease. The few clumps of thicker grass that I come across tend to slow things down a little. Volunteer trees that are 1/2 inch or less in diameter should not be a problem.
The shaft's end is shaped like a "star" with six splines.

So far, I've noticed a high level of build quality. Great tilting feature, but due to torque from the cutting head's weight, it's difficult to control when angled. The pole feature was the main selling point for me because it eliminated the need to climb a ladder on uneven ground to trim my six-foot-tall hedges. I just got the pole extension in the mail, but I'm not sure I'll be able to use it with the trimmer. The chain saw attachment will be the most common use for the extension. High-end hardware.
I also like that I don't have to trim bushes from a ladder any longer. I've put a lot of miles on this thing and it's never let me down in terms of battery life. My land is approximately 3 acres in size and features extensive landscaping.
Great attachment, but I couldn't find one in Hawaii because the Home Depot (bastards!) doesn't sell it. This item does not overheat like a weed trimmer and consumes very little battery power! I have Amazon Prime and the shipping was cheap and fast! The only flaw is that It has a lot of weight!.
It functions admirably. It's worked for me both with and without the extension. It performs similarly to the Milwaukee hand-held hedge trimmer in terms of cutting quality. Oil the blades every time you use them, and about every half hour if you're using them a lot. This will ensure that they stay sharp for a long time. It also prevents them from becoming clogged. I don't clean my blades, but I do oil them on a regular basis. After reading about the best lubricant for plants, I discovered fluid film, and everyone on a forum said they wouldn't use anything else because it didn't burn the plants.
I was able to reach the tops of some of our yard's tallest shrubs using extension; it's easy to sharpen, has a tough construction, and cuts cleanly. It's a great addition to have on hand when you're working in the yard. The M18 9 amp battery lasted for over four hours of continuous operation.
This is the tool to use if you need to trim tall bushes. It's a perfect solution. Cut right through a variety of branch sizes and worked in unison. Milwaukee's most famous item - The product is well-designed and engineered. I wish I had bought it sooner so I could have avoided having to climb up and down ladders.
If you're familiar with the Milwaukee system, you already know how good it is. I can only think of one real disadvantage: my weight.
This is especially true of the shoulder strap, as this item is quite heavy. Milwaukee products are a favorite of mine, so choosing this brand was a no-brainer for me; it effortlessly cuts through small branches and shrubbery, and it's a breeze to use. This trimmer comes highly recommended from me!.
