We used to heat our home with wood, so I used to regularly use a few full-size chainsaws. With this saw I trimmed a number of trees in my yard (including an apple tree and an oak tree) I then trimmed 3 trailer loads of trees at work (primarily maple and dogwood) and even cut down 6" of spruce. Most wind storms knock down a few decently-sized branches on my lawn during a wind storm since I have a lot of trees on my property.
