In my search for a good battery operated, I thought I found one. The following information is very important Though I do not rate this tool as five stars, I wanted people to see my review before making a purchase.
Despite the pole saw being a good product, customer service told me after I bought it that they do not sell a replacement chain unless you buy the chain bar along with it. Two backup chains model # 29682 were ordered for it as suggested, but when I got out to the property and tried to change the chain, I realized that this one doesn't fit my machine. It was then that I learned what Greenworks' unstated problem was. It is sad to see this. Although I thought I found a battery operated tool I could use, I decided that I did not need to purchase parts I do not need and that I would send it back.
I think a replacement chain for this pole saw is available. Could anyone let me know where I can find one. In all other cases, I would have to return it.
