Questions & Answers

Other GreenWorks40V batteries can be used with this product?

There is no guarantee that all Greenworks Batteries are the same. There are only G-rated hotels The maximum number of batteries is In my case, the battery listed with my Greenworks lawnmower is a 29302 for one of them, but it is not listed as working.

Can the battery be used continuously when it is in use? You will need to tell us whether you are using a 2Ah or a 4Ah Thanks so much?

The screen is 12 inches, 40 volts, and 2 amps. During the past three days, I have spent three days cutting and cutting up a 25-foot oak tree A flowering pears tree that grows to seven feet tall. On the first day, we took all the limbs off (about 60 limbs on one battery). Cut down the 14" trunk initially and then cut it into small pieces so you can throw it in the truck on one battery when the battery is charged overnight. To begin with, I cut up all the limbs into bite-size pieces to place in the fire pit, with one battery, the next day. It would seem that they last long enough to do most things I would say it is sufficient for small and medium jobs unless you are a lumberjack.

The battery that comes with it isn't quite clear to me. Is it the one ending with What's the difference between the two? What can I do if I don't have the ?

HI livestrongrbd, i was wondering if you could tell me the model number for the battery that comes with the chainsaw model CS40L210, which

Are there any oil consumption problems with this model?

As a result of the smaller reservoir of this chainsaw, it will be smaller than the reservoir of most other standard 12" chains It is always a good idea to check the oil before and after use.

Here is the Chainsaw Report #4 for Old Goat Ranch
5/5

A young geezer apprentice himself delivered the message. I had been mixing gas, pumping primer bulbs, and pulling starter cords, till I almost fell over dizzy, to drop a broken branch when I was 68. Not at all! It is the first time I have not used my two Poulan 16ins. " &" A 14-inch diameter. I have not been able to use bar chainsaws since I bought this one. The battery life is equivalent to what is in a tank of gas on either of the Poulans. During an attack I've often run both Poulans at the same time to take down between 40 and 50 targets A forest as big around as me has trees as tall as 50 feet. So do not compare this to an aftermath of the Kansas Tornado. The problem is . . . It would be easy to get 400 pounds of firewood with the ATV and a 3x4' garden cart in the woods. You will have no problem filling the cart. In order to use the wood stove, 6in x 16in logs do not need to be split. As well as the 8in, I have the 10in. Two batteries are included with the chain saw, which is a pole mounted 40V cordless chain saw. That also rates 5 stars in my book. Removes Christmas trees from the ground at ground I would like to conclude by saying this In the event that I have to cut a limb off while tree climbing, heading up a rope pull would be just as easy. Update and reword 70 years old in less than a month. As we all know, Kansas spring is in full swing There was lots of rain or lots of snow. -a record for the month of May There have been many flash floods and tornadoes in the past. In my neighborhood, there was a flash flood, and a tree fell that had a diameter of 18 inches and was 40 feet tall. The trunk of the tree was dragging along with my tractor after I cut the limbs. There is an 85 foot barbed wire fence that was damaged. Then I saw another 40 footer body lying against the fence, looking like it was about to hit the barbed wire I need to remove it. My arms were not able to touch any fingers as I wrapped them around the trunk. There is one saw and two batteries in my possession. The first side of the tree has been cut. On the other side, I made a cut that was 3 inches higher. I did not have a wedge, so I stopped cutting. There was no doubt that it was about My tractor re-accelerated and I focused on pushing the bucket against the trunk of the tree at a distance of about 9 feet. As far as I was concerned, it went down right where I wanted. I am unable to start those two gas saws due to a bad shoulder. The Marketplace was updated yesterday with them. A total of $60 was sold today at 8am. It is so hard for me to start chain saws, lawn mowers and weed eaters In the past few days, I've been ordering This battery is used for a lawnmower as well. However, some spots my 46" cutting deck cannot get, primarily ditches by the road, are out of the reach of my garden tractor. There will be no gas chain saws, no gas weed eaters, and no gas push mowers. There will be no more icy temperatures The cold shoulder does not go unnoticed. The electricity has been switched to electric. If you're retired and an electrical engineer, why rush to the gas station for juice when you can get it from the walls? The panels on my roof are either on or off. I recommend you buy this book.

Up until then, it was a great chainsaw
3/5

A few hours into using it, this chainsaw stopped working, and I was really disappointed. A third battery was just loaded, oil filled, and I started to cut when it suddenly stopped. I had just started cutting, loaded the third battery, and filled the oil, when suddenly, it I took the bar and chain completely off and then tried to energize it with zero load, but it struggles to turn the chain sprocket. There seems to be an issue with the motor. In any case, I can't recommend it, regardless of how much I love The following is an update from 4/5/19 Removed the parts to find the source of the problem. An electrical and mechanical engineer was not difficult During the test, a needle roller bearing 6mm in diameter failed on the first output shaft. Please see the attached pictures. There appears to have been no lubrication at all in or around the bearing. I have located the bearing part number which is HK 0608 (6mm ID, 10mm OD, 8mm length). Maybe someone else is experiencing the same issue. In case you (will) suffer from the same problem and are savvy enough to be able to tear into it in order to fix it, this bearing can be bought on the internet for about $6.

This item was purchased without a Using the battery on my , I powered up
5/5

The battery has been removed from the purchase. To power my weedeater, I used the battery attached to my greenworks. The voltage is 40 volts and the current is 2 amps. The cost was around 50 bucks with two-day shipping through Amazon Prime. Until recently, I didn't own any kind of chainsaw. It took me just a short time to chop up a tree that had been overhanging my fence line, and to take down a tree that had been in my grape vines and chop up its trunk before my battery See attached pictures to get an idea of how long the charge will last. This review will also let you know what the chainsaw can handle. A single charge was used for everything.

The chain will not stay connected
3/5

There were several times that I tightened the chain because it kept coming off. Even after using the device continuously for a couple of minutes, I had to tighten it. As one of the parts fell off when the cover was opened to access the chain wheel, the other fell off too. The first thing they did was teach me how to tighten the chain by calling Greenworks helpline. The part I said was missing was now missing. The customer service department put me on hold, and then directed me to my local hardware store to get the part. This is for a product that has a 4-year Later, I inquired if there was a local shop where I could take it for repair. I spent 40 minutes on the phone asking them if they would like to do business. This was a defective product that no one offered to fix, and now it's going to the landfill. The Greenwork products I own are other products I enjoy using so this is clearly.

Is it really important how big a product is? Trying to convince my boyfriend to get a chainsaw was my idea of a good time
5/5

It wasn't until I started working on a job that required me to trim a few trees that he realized we needed one. As soon as I saw the opportunity to buy for my "business" I took After I received it, I laughed and was surprised at how small it looked. There is not much bulk to it and it is pretty In my head, all of a sudden, I started to contemplate what kind of small shrubs I might be able to trim with this little puppy and what size I would need for the actual job. We started out with some small branches, and then worked our way up to larger and larger branches until our boyfriend and I had thinned and pruned EIGHT The way you put that together impressed me. I am actually hooked on it. There's no way you could cut down a redwood with this (who would want to) but I can see this being useful to keep around the house to clean I am attaching pictures for you to get a sense of the approximate size of the As I have only had this job for a month, I cannot say exactly how long it will last, but I thought it was worth every penny and if there are more in the future, that will just be Despite the short battery life, the device worked well. We waited longer than we had anticipated, but you know how it goes. Rather, it's the quality of the tool, not its size. It all depends on what you do with.
