The purchase was for a single-use The use of grills to prepare So far it smells wonderful, but I haven't actually used it. Put in water and soak for three minutes If grilling will work best, indirect heat must be applied 4 hours ahead of time. In a mouthful Just thinking about it makes my eyes water. A brief update It turned out perfect, juicy and flavorful each time. I've used them several times now to grill salmon.

It is a great price for a thick large plank of wood that is very thick. A good size salmon filet can be held in it. Adds a good, subtle, yet distinct flavor of cedar smoke. It is possible to use each plank multiple times due to its thickness. Cedar cooking surfaces are a great value for the price per square inch.

This set of planks has been used by me on several occasions now for grilling steaks, fish and My preferred method is to cook these away from the flame, but off to the side, so as not to burn the wood too much. I feel as though my food now has a more earthy flavor after using these. Additionally, I do not have too much dried meat. Well-done steaks can often be chewy and/or tough, as that is how I like my meat cooked. These planks haven't caused me any problems since I've been using them. My meat will still be well done, but now it is extremely flavorful and melts in your mouth. The instructions that come with these should prevent you from messing this up if you follow them carefully. Additionally, they come with a handy bag that can be used to.
So far, it has been reused three times. Salmon with a generous girth and thick skin made a delicious dish.
Smoking fish is easy with this product, and it tastes great as well.
As far as the planks go, they are nice and thick they come packaged nicely and are easy to transport and store, and it is nice to open them and not smell that they have been treated with chemicals or wrapped in plastic, after all, we are going to be cooking on these. They're gorgeous, and I appreciate that they're sustainably sourced.
