It doesn't make sense to me to give five stars to anything because there's always something better that could be done. Compared to grilling planks, there isn't much that can be done to improve them. In fact, they are maple and give off a distinct smoke smell. The right thickness of sheeting allows heat to pass but the sheeting does The wood is free of They are convenient in size. Cherry is the better choice than cedar! It is wonderful to grill with these planks and they have a wonderful flavor

If I don't gum it up too much on the first use, I can use the plank for two things. Then I did a good chunk I plan on grilling something tonight over charcoal with mushrooms, onion slices, and bell peppers. That was the best meal I've had so far this.
