Right after I received these planks, I installed them on my grill and grilled some salmon on The soaked sheets gave the salmon a smoked flavor that appealed to my taste better than simply putting it on the grill. After I soaked them in water for 30 minutes, I put them on the grill, and the finished product tasted really good. I would recommend it to others if I need to cook salmon, since the skin stays on the plank when you use the spatula to take the salmon off. Additionally, there are enough planks to keep you going for a long time, depending on how often you eat fish.
The glasses are used for cocktails in a bar/restaurant where we make them in smoked glasses. My new planks are better quality than the ones I bought from a different vendor in the past. My first impression is that the appearance is pleasing, nice and thick, and the logo is pleasing - This is a very professional-looking website. As soon as the plank is lit, cedar "smoke" is easily generated, giving off a great, smokey scent. I would highly recommend this product.
The Traeger is what we use to grill salmon filets. Cedar planks on Amazon or in local stores can be a little pricey, but you can use them for grilling salmon to ensure it is cooked perfectly. They are ordered on a regular basis by our company.
I and my husband love grilling on wood planks, and thought these would be a good deal for us. Despite their smell of cedar, two of them are cracked, so we will try them out. Next time I will try somewhere else.
There are more "Made in China" garbage products advertised as "Alaskan Red Cedar". There is no mention of made in China in the It is only after you dig deep into the listing and look further down that you find the phrase "Alaskan Old Growth Red Cedar, Processed in China. ". There is no turning back for them.
It adds a lot of flavor to seafood and chicken. I have used it primarily for those dishes. Be sure to SOAK the nylons in water before wrapping them around your food and cook the food at a slow rate These are also great if you are grilling Jerk chicken -- they give off better smoke and prevent a fire.
These are the perfect size for us! In the past, I felt like I was wasting a lot of money with various sizes I bought from most companies. Aside from the great taste and smell, it's also great for the environment!.
There is nothing better than the smell of these and the way they look as well.
