It is necessary to have accessories on hand.   So far, everything has gone well! I bought it because I wanted to be able to use it with any type of heat source (charcoal, gas, etc. ). Because I'll be using it primarily on a wood deck, the optional hard floor stand was required for me (I had to order it directly from Kanka). When using my charcoal kettle grill, there is a learning curve to managing the fire (the right heat level, distance from the food, burn through speed, etc. ), but I enjoy the challenge. My questions have been answered quickly by the company. The rest of the accessories will be available in the near future.

This motorised spit is an excellent addition to my camping gear because it is so simple to use, compact, and light weight to carry. I love using it to cook tri tip and sausages over an open fire; I don't even need a grill anymore! It's sturdy, runs on AA batteries, is well-made, and takes only a few minutes to put together. It comes highly recommended!.

The SST design of the bars appeals to me, as well as the ease with which they can be assembled. Because it's a two-piece bar, I was concerned about how it would hold the Kanka. However, it connects well and performs admirably. There is a disadvantage, but it also has an advantage. Because it's a two-piece bar, you can lock or secure the bottom part, but if you don't pay attention, the top will swivel out of the fire, which is great because you can swivel out of the fire to remove the Kanka once you're done cooking.

I've used this product three times now, and each time I've gotten excellent results. For a fantastic smoke ring, mix charcoal with apple wood chunks. The rotating speed can be adjusted using the AC 110 power connection. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was because the instructions said not to let grease reach the engine. The shaft should have a ring to act as a trap to prevent grease from reaching the engine. You can also wrap a rag around the shaft to help absorb the grease. Overall, this is a fantastic idea.
