Last night, I used the jalapeno popper rack for the first time. It was a great success. Users should be aware of one piece of advice. Put a toothpick through your jalapenos about 1/3 of the way down from the top, even if they are large and fit well in the rack and do not appear to be falling through. They shrink and fall through the cracks as they cook. This isn't due to the cooker's fault; rather, it's due to shrinkage during the cooking process. Most jalapenos work well with the corer. Simply remove the top of the pepper and twist the corer inside. The majority of membranes and seeds are removed in this manner. The cored material comes out very easily if you tap the corer against a waste bin. You can remove the majority, if not all, of the remaining seeds by tapping the cored pepper in the sink. Fill with your favorite filling after rinsing. The corer will only not fit on small jalapenos. This rack was chosen because there is more space between the holes. br>br> This gives the toothpicks plenty of room, and 24 poppers is plenty for my needs. This grill rack and corer tool comes highly recommended by me.

I was expecting a jalapeno corer, but when I saw this cool-looking rack that came with it, I decided to buy both. br>br>I make jalapeno poppers a couple of times a week and usually cut them in half, clean them, stuff them, wrap them in bacon, and lay them flat to cook. br>br>To use the cleaning tool, you must use very large jalapenos, otherwise it will split them. It's also difficult to get all of the ribs and seeds out, so I made some smokin' hot jalapenos, which I like, but this was too much for me. Filling them was a pain, but I used a ziplock baggie, trimmed a corner, and piped the filling into the peppers. Placed in the tray after being wrapped in bacon. br>br>The next issue was that the tool needed to fit down into the popper was too large for the tray holes, resulting in it being top heavy. br>br>I propped them all up, put them in the oven, and 15 minutes later, there are some that have tipped over, but they have cream cheese pouring out the top like a volcano (the way I normally make them, the bacon must hold in the cream cheese. ) )br>br>In conclusion, this was a colossal failure. I was a little let down. It MIGHT work if the tool was smaller and I could use smaller peppers and less cream cheese in the filling.

My wife claims that most of the Jalepeno peppers she harvests from my garden are too small to fit in the holes, as have other reviewers. Yes, she can use toothpicks to keep the peppers in place, but that adds to the time and cost. The poppers she made with this Jalapeno Grill Rack a tool for coring peppers All of the roasters in the Large 24 Capacity Roaster were cooked perfectly and tasted great. My wife also agreed with other posters who stated that the corer is too large for most Jalepenos and that if she tried to use it, it would split open. Despite the fact that the roaster and corer are of excellent quality and construction, she does not use them.

Complete honesty: My method and recipes are still new to me when it comes to making Jalapeno Poppers, but that has less to do with the grill and more to do with my method and recipes. I chose this model based on price, hole count, and customer feedback. The rack meets my expectations. br>br>I was surprised by the size of the holes, but it allows me to choose larger peppers that make guests feel like they're getting a special treat. Smaller peppers have been reported to fall through the holes by some reviewers. With this rack, this will happen, but spearing the peppers with a toothpick will prevent it. Only one of my peppers made it through, but since I use a grill matt, it didn't matter. Cleaning out jalapenos with the coring tool takes a little practice, but it's worth it. The coring tool that comes with this rack will split smaller peppers, but it appears to be designed for the larger peppers that fit snugly in the holes. If you're working with smaller peppers, one of the coring tools available on Amazon (which I own) is a good investment. br>br>The only caution is that the rack will become extremely hot, so be sure to have oven mitts on hand when removing it from the grill once the peppers are done. This product comes highly recommended by me.

I couldn't wait to get my hands on two of them. They arrived in good condition, and the size is ideal for peppers. The one I used for smoking had 24 jumbo jalapenos that had been stuffed with cheese and wrapped in extra thick bacon. I had no trouble getting all of the peppers onto the rack. To make everything fit, I had to jigsaw puzzle a few pieces, but the rest was simple. Much better than my previous pepper rack, which was much smaller. br>br>The only good thing was that the peppers fit in the rack. Its foldable legs, on the other hand, are an entirely different story. That is the most dreadful design I've ever seen. While placing the pepper rack on the smoker's grill grate, the legs would not stay in place. We tried a few different approaches, but they all resulted in the legs collapsing and one side being lower than the other, resulting in a slanted pepper rack. br>br>To fix it, we had to bend the legs so that they would stay in place and not fold. I purchased two of these and will be returning one to exchange for a better model. It's a waste of $25 for a product I won't be able to return.

It was used on 4 pound Siracha peppers. 5 inches long x 1 inch wide It worked on a 25" diameter pepper, but it split the peppers on anything smaller. Making two is a good idea. The coring knives come in three sizes, each of which can be used with the standard 2-inch coring knife. Peppers with a diameter of at least 5 inches are recommended. br>Both the peppers and the drum sticks fit perfectly on the rack. The holes are a little big, but any smaller and the drum sticks won't fit through. To accommodate average-sized peppers, you might want to make a smaller hole rack. br>The first night I got it, I used the knife and rack. Poppers were made by me, and they turned out fantastically! I smoked and cooked drumsticks the next day, which turned out to be fantastic! The finished product meets my expectations.
