Slowly open the valve on the propane tank. This was a problem for me as well. The propane tank has a built-in safety feature.
It can be placed on a counter or in an outdoor kitchen with the legs removed. br>For airflow, we recommend leaving 6" of space around the griddle and keeping it at least 3 feet away from combustible materials.
Yes, the grill will come with H-shaped burners installed. The delivery was satisfactory to me. Thank you very much.
I already had a 12' hose with a quick coupler on one end and a 17" adapter connector, so I removed the hose and regulator from the 28" griddle, removed the 17" adapter from the 12' hose, and connected the 12' hose directly to the 28" griddle at the point where I removed the regulator hose. It really works. The 17" connector was then attached to the regulator hose, allowing me to connect the 17" to a propane tank.

Traditionally, if you want to be a father, you must first have a child. Not any longer. br>br> br>br>I bought this bad boy, and before I knew it, I was wearing white New Balances, cargo shorts, and had developed a lawn-mowing obsession. These factors all contribute to the pure joy I experience while cooking on this divinely inspired device. If you've never used a grill before, get ready to change your life. What can you make with it, you might wonder. ANYTHING YOUR LITTLE HEART DESIRES, IN FACT. br>br>How about some Philly Cheesesteaks? Done. burgers? br>br>Smashburgers? It's simple money. br>br>How about some sautéed vegetables? Everyone with the surname Matsumoto should be ashamed of themselves. br>br>Breakfast? For the first time in my life, I was looking forward to getting up early. br>br>I have a traeger, and when it comes to barbecuing, smoking is a whole new level. The griddle, however, is a different matter. For all other types of cooking, the griddle is the be-all and end-all. You may think I'm joking, but after purchasing this hunk of metal, you'll be at the airport 4 hours early in minutes. Trust me. It will be well worth your time and effort. Just go ahead and do it. DO IT.
This is my Dad's review of the product that I bought for him. When one of the bolts for the lower tray and tank hanger did not line up with the pre-drilled holes, assembly appeared to be simple enough. a hole that was drilled A new hole had to be drilled that was perfectly aligned. When I connected the propane tank, I discovered that the electronic igniter was broken. Regarding igniter failure, I went to the Blackstone troubleshooting website and followed all of the instructions - Nothing appeared to be effective. When I finally got a match to light the griddle, I discovered that the right-hand burner only lit on one side of the "H. " I tried several times with a match but was unable to light it. I tried for several hours to contact Blackstone customer service, but all I got was a recording saying that there was a high volume of calls. In a panic, I called Amazon, who offered to send me a free replacement burner and igniter. Amazon Customer Service is fantastic, and Blackstone could learn a thing or two from them. In summary - Although the griddle appears to be well-made, the quality control leaves a lot to be desired. NEXT STEP: The replacement parts arrived, but they are not the same as the ones on my griddle. I tried numerous times to contact Blackstone customer service and received the same recorded message each time. In a last-ditch effort, I called Amazon again, and they attempted to contact Blackstone on a "priority" number. However, there was no reply. Amazon agreed to refund my money and have the already-assembled griddle picked up by UPS. Amazon delivers once more, and Blackstone loses a customer. If you're thinking about buying one of these griddles, keep in mind that you'll never be able to contact Blackstone if something goes wrong with it after it's been delivered. This is a terrible way to run a business.
So I finally ordered this griddle, and I'm glad I did! This device is incredible! It can be used to make everything from pancakes to burgers, and it has enough space (28 inch model) to feed a large family. On it, I made a dozen burgers and had room for at least another eight. The grease drainage issue that others have had was my only concern. After looking at a few grease mods, I decided to give one of them a shot. Blackstone, on the other hand, appears to have tried a different approach to alleviate the situation. The changes Blackstone has made are visible in the photos I've attached. First, there is no longer a "drain hole," second, at the end of the drainage tunnel, they added a welded "knob," and finally (see photos), they angled the drain channel upwards so that it does not automatically drain into the drain pan. Basically, grease will build up in the grease channel, and all you have to do is push the grease down the channel into the drain pan with a couple of paper towels and tongs. So far, this has worked well for me, and I've had no problems with grease dripping down the griddle's front leg. I wish Blackstone had just put a drain funnel tip at the end of the channel that pushed the grease towards the drain pan, but what they did will suffice; I've cooked on it three times now and haven't had any issues with grease building up in the channel to the point where I had to clean it before I was finished cooking. When I was cleaning my griddle after cooking, all I had to do was push it down the channel into the pan. If you're thinking about purchasing one, do yourself a favor and hit the "add to cart" button; you won't be disappointed.
