It is attached to mine, but I do not see why you couldn't do it as well. Because it's just a straight hookup to the propane tank, I would think that it would work fine even if attached to the propane tank.

It is impossible to use the igniter

As soon as I connected this to my grill and propane, I realized the ignitor wasn't working. After tinkering with it a bit, including adjusting the rod that is supposed to ignite, I was unable to achieve success. CampChef said to do exactly what I did when I reached out to them. Don't be afraid to make changes. As a result, I'm stuck with a $200+ attachment without an igniter. They have a hole for a long lighter to go through, so I have to use one of those every time I use them.

You will never regret this purchase! I'm so happy this attachment appeals to my husband! Our family has cooked everything from breakfast to stir fry on this griddle, and it has come out great every time! This is the perfect addition to our Camp Chef smoker!

Our camp chef pellet smoker gains an additional cooking style with this. I love how versatile she is. I like the griddle because I can use other pots on it as well. We had to tighten the strike wire since it would not As soon as it is tightened, it always works properly.

I purchased it for my husband as a birthday gift. It's a very important part of his life. He won't be able to light it easily until he is more familiar with it, but he should get the hang of it after playing with it a little bit. Making it a complete grill, it brings out the best in the smoker.
