I have no idea. There are no markings on this item. They, however, have the same appearance, feel, and weight as the Weber grill grate that came with the grill. They haven't been used by anyone yet, so I can't compare them.
The narrow faced up with the flat bars down, but the photos of the grates in use here cast doubt on that. I never imagined it wouldn't be obvious, but mine just arrived in the mail, and I'm having trouble deciding which one looks best. I imagine it would work in either case.
That's what I think. The grates are the same as the ones that came with the original grill. I'm so glad I found these on Amazon because the Weber site wanted way too much money for them. It was well worth the money!

These were purchased on a whim to replace the grates on my Spirit 320, which had not been replaced in several years. I must say that the quality has pleasantly surprised me. They fit perfectly on my grill and feel sturdy enough to withstand the high temperatures over time. I've noticed that food sticks to these grates a little more, but using more cooking spray/olive oil makes it much easier. I'm glad I took a chance and bought these instead of the overpriced ones. Weber brand at a reasonable price.
My Weber has larger grill grates, so it took a couple of orders to get the right size. These are well-fitting, heavy, and evenly distribute heat. These genuine Weber grates cost $89 versus $50 for generic replacement grates, but you need to spend the money. The generic grates are a lot flimsier and lighter. They were returned, and the real ones were obtained.
They are reasonably priced and appear to be identical to the original. I wish I'd known about these sooner; the porcelain coating on my old ones was literally flaking off before I realized they needed to be replaced every two or three years!.
When compared to original cast iron grates, they are slightly less thick, but for the price, they are a good deal. In my old Weber, it's a perfect match. She's only been used once, but she appears to be in good working order, and she should last another 20 years!.
You save a lot of money compared to the OEM version while maintaining the same level of quality. Quite a bit.
Cast iron grates are preferable to stainless or porcelain-coated grates in my opinion. Steel that has been coated. Longer lasting, easier to clean, and better at retaining heat.
These, along with some new flavor bars, completely transformed the appearance of my grill. Cleaning is a breeze, and the heat is distributed evenly.
CAST IRON GRATE IN EXCELLENT CONDITION AT AN EXTREMELY LOW PRICE.
