Meat tends to stick in most cases. Make an effort to use a non-alcoholic beverage. Before you heat and cook, spray the grill with cooking spray.
They were not seasoned in any way. The grills are incredible.
The grates are cast iron and are finished with black matte porcelain enamel (a type of paint or covering applied to cast iron to prevent it from rusting), according to the item description. My Weber Spirit e210 gas grill accepts them without issue.
This grill (Weber e-450) is identical to mine. I have a 210 with front controls, but it's in another location, so I can't measure the grate right now, but these grates fit my grill perfectly.

These parts work fine, but there is one word of caution. Make sure you accurately measure your grill because, despite sharing the same model number, these parts come in a variety of sizes. I initially ordered one size, discovered they were too big (thank you, Amazon, for your quick and easy return), remeasured, and ordered the correct size, which fit perfectly! Much less expensive than purchasing a brand new grill.
They're at least as good as the ones that came with it, if not better. I preheated the grill grates to 500°F before I started cooking. For 10 minutes, heat the oven to 600 degrees Fahrenheit. I brushed the grates with olive oil after they had cooled, then reheated the grill to 500°F. For the next 10 minutes, keep the temperature at 600 degrees Fahrenheit. br>Chicken thighs were the first thing I cooked on the grill. I used to spray Pam on the grates when they were dirty. The chicken was cooked to perfection and easily removed. It was also simple to clean the grate. br>I enjoy the grates and would recommend them to others. Grilling is fun!.
I've had the same grill for about 5 years, and the original grates were in pretty bad shape. These were a perfect fit for my Weber 210 and look almost identical to the originals. Old grills are much more difficult to clean. If this set lasts a couple of years, I'll probably buy another to extend the grill's useful life. br>I am very happy with my purchase.
It's a perfect fit for the grill described in the description. I'd write its name, but I'm too lazy to scroll up to do so. Anyway, it's great, and it's less expensive than the official Weber one, so I can't complain!.
I was surprised to find that these grates are more durable than the Weber grates.
These grill grate are incredible. They are, in my opinion, superior to the factory-installed grates. The Spirit 200 is made of extremely heavy cast iron with a ceramic coating, so the fit is ideal. Highly recommended and less than half the cost of Weber replacement grates.
I'm glad I purchased this to replace my rusted OEM grates. Just remember to clean and oil both before and after.
The finished product was excellent. The shipping experience was less than ideal. Once, I had to return because the grills were broken (and they were very badly broken). The second time, a corner was broken, but the pieces still fit together well, so I kept them. It's too much trouble to send it back.
