Yes, it is compatible with road trip grills.
Yes, and according to what I've heard, they're even better than the original coleman grates that came with it. These heavy-duty grates are fantastic. I would strongly suggest it.

This grill was purchased to replace an older Coleman Roadtrip grill. I made the mistake of cleaning the original aluminum grill grates in the oven. The temperature was high enough that the grates were severely warped. br>br>These were a low-cost alternative. Despite the fact that they are not as light as the original Aluminum, they still perform admirably! (Excuse the pun) They seasoned well and have proven to be simple to clean thus far. They function similarly to a typical outdoor grill found in most homes.
When the first set arrived, one of the pieces was broken into several pieces. There was no fault on the part of the shipping company or Amazon. I'm guessing it arrived broken and no one noticed. Despite the fact that I have only used them once, they appear to be very sturdy and clean up well. br>Because they are cast iron, I believe they should be "seasoned" in the same way that cast iron frying pans are. br>On how long these will last, only time will tell. I'm sure they'll be superior to the aluminum ones that come standard with the Coleman Road Trip grills.
My friend gave me a Coleman Roadtrip Portable Grill, but the grates were missing, so when I went on Amazon to look for them and found them, I was ecstatic because they were only $40 and the grill I was getting was free, so it was a great investment. I'm looking forward to grilling some steaks. I'll update my review once I've used it to see how well it cleans.
These are nearly identical to the original grates, as far as I can tell. My issue with them is that no matter how well you take care of them, they WILL rust. / or "burn through" the slotted area.
It's a perfect match for my Coleman portable grill. It was a lot easier to replace than it was to clean the rust off my old gear. For the price, it's impossible to beat!.
These cast iron grills have replaced old Coleman cast aluminum grills that had melted. Easy to keep cool and clean.
For two pieces, the quality is excellent and the price is very reasonable. I recommend applying a light coat of vegetable oil to them before and after each use, just as you would to cast iron skillets.
These are nearly identical to the grill's original equipment. Spraying them with high-temp anti-stick stuff is a good idea.
