A AAA rechargeable battery will undoubtedly suffice. Lithium chemistry is not used in AAA rechargeable batteries. They'll be something different, such as Ni- Two cells are required, according to my memory. (Note that a AAA lithium rechargeable battery does not exist because the voltage of a lithium cell is not the same as that of a standard battery.) The AAA specification calls for a voltage of 5 volts.

The lack of a manual function is the most serious flaw. If you want to turn on the water RIGHT NOW, set the time to a minute in the future, and remember to reset the time for regular watering when you're done. br>br>You also can't choose between watering on Monday, Wednesday, or Friday. Every day, every two days, every three days, and so on are among the options, so watering will take place on different days each week. br>br>Also, because this is a solenoid and not a slow-closing valve, water hammer may occur when it shuts off.
When you want to water but don't want to time it, keep these items on hand. I installed it yesterday and it appears to work well; however, I wish I could turn it off without having to remove it in order to fill the pool with water or water the side of the yard that the sprinkler doesn't reach. br>I understand, I understand. These are first-world issues. And I'm sure someone has done some amazing work. I haven't figured out what's going on around me yet. For the time being, I suppose I'll just change the timer for the specialty watering and then reset it for the "daily" watering.
stars. Read why. Within a month, I had purchased five of them, one of which had failed. UPDATE: After discovering that one of the five sprinkler timers I purchased from Restmo had broken after only 28 days, they contacted me. They expressed regret that it had stopped working and informed me that I had an 18-month warranty. worry for a month Warranty replacement is provided for free. They said they'd send me a new one for free. Despite the fact that one of them broke, I was impressed by their customer service, which promises to replace any defective timers within 18 months if something goes wrong. That, I believe, is all you can ask for. They never asked if I wanted to update my review. I simply decided to update it on my own because they will stand behind their product and want to ensure that you are satisfied with it. This type of customer service is something that we need more of. Take a look at my first two posts. Below is a five-star review. br>br>I purchased five of these. I found them to be simple to use, set up, and understand, as well as dependable. However, after 28 days of use, one of them broke. br>br>I noticed today that one of my sprinklers was still running. The sprinkler was left on all night because the timer never turned off. The timer's batteries were showing signs of depletion. I installed new batteries and it showed 50% power only. After that, the bar dropped to zero power in less than 10 seconds. br>br>I'm guessing water got into this timer in some way. The battery compartment was clean and dry on the inside. But, of the five timers of this model I own, this is the only one that is frequently hit by water, so I believe water has gotten inside and damaged it.
The other 4 I have been using for 6 weeks without any issues and they all show 100% power on the timers and they all show 100% power on the timers I used this one for 28 days, and it's the only one that gets wet because it's in a different spot and is sprayed by the sprinkler. A sprinkler does not spray the other four. br>br>Until this one went wrong, I was going to give them 5 stars.
Someone mentioned that they couldn't figure out how to set up their computer. I followed the instructions carefully and found them to be very simple to understand and implement. It turned on and off at the exact time it was programmed to. If the timer is set for 1 day, it will continue to run for another 7 days or more until the dial is turned off. Every day, it resets itself. So, if you go on vacation or whatever for a few weeks, it will continue to start at the same time every day.
My yard is fickle and requires constant attention, whether it's watering, seeding, or fertilizing. This sprinkle time was exactly what I needed to help me set up a nice routine, and it's easy to do. All you have to do now is connect the hoses and read the simple instructions. Then you're good to go with two AAA batteries. I like that it lets you quickly turn on and off the water with a push of a button, and that programming a schedule is very intuitive if you need something that takes care of itself. I've been using it for over a week now, and I'd happily recommend it to anyone. There are no leaks, no messes, just a simple way to keep track of your watering.
This is my initial impression of the product, and if I remember, I'll try to provide an annual update on how it's holding up in normal use. br>br>Application (br>br>Application (br>br>Application (br>b Controlling the amount of water used to irrigate outdoor hanging baskets. Advantages: br>br>
> Two AAA batteries are all that's required.
> The automated watering feature is simple to set up.
> The display is simple to read.
> To protect the display from scratches during shipping, it came with a protective film.
> The unit is very small.
> It appears that the unit is made of durable plastic.
> The filter screen is stainless steel, and the inlet fitting has a gasket.
> Fits standard 3/4" hose fittings used in the United States.
> Excellent customer service with a lightning-quick response time. br>br>Contrary to popular belief, there are a number of disadvantages to using this product.
> Until the protective film is removed, the display appears foggy and scratched, but there are no instructions indicating that it should be removed, and it is not immediately obvious that it should be.
> The valve's manual operation appears impossible at first, but with a little practice and reading the user manual, it becomes quite simple. br> The user manual can be downloaded by following the link provided by Amazon at the bottom of the product information page, under the heading - User Manual. It's been a few months since I've used it, and it's fantastic. It's simple to set up and then forget about. So that I can use the hose on the free end, I bought a metal Y separator. The Kasian House Heavy Duty Brass Garden Hose Splitter was $11 when I bought it. I like how the rubber switches make it easy to turn on and off the water, and it's of good quality and doesn't leak. br>br>It took a long time for me to figure out how much water to put in my drip irrigation line, and my corn didn't make it. Everything else, on the other hand, is taking off like a weed. My tomato plants have grown to a height of five feet. We live in New Mexico, so every morning and night, I have to water for an hour. It's nice to be able to put something in a drawer and forget about it. br>br>There are no leaks, but hand tightening is recommended for the best results. Neither a wrench nor pliers should be used. Warning: br>br> You must instill in your family the importance of not turning off the water. My older grandson and wife both did it once, but I caught them both. With the Restmo timer, you cannot go wrong. Because I've only had it for two months, I deducted one star. It will be updated the following year.
