Questions & Answers

This product is classified as a tp-. 2bs. This is a thread about China and Australia. Threads from the United States are a tp-type of tp-type of tp-type of 2ns. Is there an error in the listing?

It's not right to list on the US site. The correct spelling is TP-. 2NS. br>br>In North America, the US thread (GHT) is used in all LinkTap products. In the European Union, all LinkTap products are sold. The British Standard Pattern (BSP) is used in the United Kingdom.

What makes the G2 and G2S so different?

The G2S, which was released in March 2021, is an improved version of the G2 (which was released in December 2019). br>br>1) The G2S allows for "watering by second," whereas the G2 only allows for "watering by minute." The G2S watering cycle lasts anywhere between 3 seconds and 23 hours, 59 minutes, and 59 seconds. 2) The G2S has a manual on/off button with digital lockout. br>br>3) The G2S has an IP66 rating, whereas the G2 has an IP65 rating. br>br>4) G2S is more resilient to unusual circumstances. In the event of a power outage or a network outage, G2S will continue to water as scheduled. The power supply to the Gateway, on the other hand, must be maintained at all times in order for G2 to function properly.

Is it a Chinese product?

It was created in China after being designed in Australia.

In September 2020, I purchased a car. In April 2021, the company went bankrupt. Is the product still covered by the manufacturer's warranty?

I bought two of them, and they both work flawlessly
5/5

Given the price, these are a bit of a splurge; after all, I could just buy a regular pair. For a lot less money, you can get a smart watering device. But each of those options had flaws, and I'm already a bit of a nerd. As a result, I read the positive reviews and decided to give it a try. The first one went off without a hitch. Picking up a strong wireless signal was no problem, and everything went according to plan. As a result, I purchased a second for the opposite side of my house, which is further away from the Gateway. While the second device's WiFi signal is much weaker than the first, it still works perfectly. Neither has fallen out of contact so far. However, before deciding to keep this device, I would test its connectivity with a faucet. Many of the WiFi connection issues that others have reported are likely due to distance and obstruction. I agree that the app isn't as intuitive as it could be, but it's simple to figure out once you get used to it, and it has a lot of information and functionality, so I'm not going to lower my overall rating because of it. One thing I didn't consider when I purchased these is that water flow regulation is still controlled by turning the faucet up or down manually. This is nothing more than a stopwatch. While it keeps track of flow rate, it does not allow you to change the water quantity flow (gallons per minute) remotely. Perhaps too much to ask for at a reasonable price or in terms of engineering, but it would be a nice feature.

This is how you do it! I tried two other wifi timers from different brands, but this one is done correctly
5/5

The app can manage multiple zones. br>br> One timer is required for each zonebr>Very adaptable. Instead of a "Deactivate plan," I'd prefer to see a "Rain delay" button. br>br>9/152021. br>br>Update on 9/152021. br>The timers are still working flawlessly. I noticed that the batteries in one of the timers were depleting faster than expected, so I contacted LinkTap Support to have them look into it. They determined that the device was defective and that an Amazon replacement would be forthcoming. That is outstanding! br>This company does things the right way! 9/192021. br>br>Update 9/192021. As promised, I received a replacement from the company via Amazon today. The timer that was a little too quick with the batteries has continued to do its job flawlessly. It will be installed the following day.

This is, without a doubt, my most important purchase for the year 2020
5/5

This is, without a doubt, my most important purchase for the year 2020. For an inground system, I was given a price of $6000. I have everything I need for less than $1500 with a few link taps, sprinklers, and hoses. The user interface could be improved, but once you get used to it, it's far superior to other products I've purchased in terms of bells and whistles. I also enjoy using my phone to control the sprinklers. You can't go wrong with this product; I've been using it for three months and have had no problems; if I have any issues, I'll come back and update this.

I have three of them because I adore them
5/5

Rather than an in-home consultation, I have three of these connected to exterior spigots, each going to a different impact sprinkler, and they cost a lot more than I want to spend. I like that I can turn them on and off with my phone, that they will skip a watering if it rains, and that they are so simple to set up and use. br>br>I also have one on my drip irrigation hose, which allows me to easily water my vegetables and flowers. It gives me comfort knowing that when I return home, I'll find healthy, happy plants and a lush lawn.

The best remote valve I've ever used
5/5

Wow, this is a huge improvement over the previous one. The app has a lot of cool features. Although the user interface can be confusing, I was able to navigate it. I could fit multiple side by side in one of those 4 way manifolds if the valve body was about 1/8" smaller in depth. I think you'll be able to fit three in as it is.

So far, everything has gone well
5/5

This appeals to me greatly. I've had some problems with it not showing any flow despite the fact that I can see water coming out. I like all of the options, and the rain delay feature has helped me avoid wasting water.

It's going to change your life! I use hoses for a variety of purposes on my property
5/5

I've never had luck with the "manual" timers. Something was always jammed, or the gardener had turned off the main spigot. I would have had no way of knowing if it hadn't been for link tap. Everything is now timed and automated, and I receive notifications when something goes wrong.
