I have four of these hooked up to the same water source. I'd give it four and a half stars if I could. It's simple to set them up. Every day, three watering cycles are infinitely adjustable. to the minute, second, and hour They also have a manual watering feature that does not interfere with the programming. br>br>I had originally ordered a different Amazon timer with a high rating. My faucet, adapters, and hoses were all incompatible with the threading. As a result, they sprayed a lot of water at them. They should also not be exposed to direct sunlight, according to the instructions. This seemed ridiculous to me. The timers will, without a doubt, be exposed to the sun. br>br>At our house, I'm using the timers to complete a large landscaping project. More than half of our 1 1/2 acre city lots were re-planted. Grass has been seeded. Two water sprinklers (Melnor XT MiniTurbo, which work great) or two to three sprinkler hoses (or a combination of a sprinkler and a sprinkler hose) are installed on each of the four timers. Our outdoor faucet has a good flow of water. Even though all timers reduce water flow, this one provided enough for our application. You might not be able to run two devices off of each timer if your water supply is low. So, what was the problem? br>br>How did you solve it? When the timers are connected to something, the inlet threading on the timers works perfectly and does not leak. When connected to my hoses, the outlets, on the other hand, leak a lot. I experimented with various washers of various types. Despite this, they continued to leak a significant amount of information. Finally, after several attempts with Teflon tape, I was able to get them to not leak on the outlet side; otherwise, they are excellent if you're willing to spend some time with them and a roll of Teflon tape. I still recommend purchasing them with the understanding that you will be required to do so.
Review has been updated: I went ahead and bought the thread adapter I'd need to attach this to my hose. Set it to turn on at 8 a. m. for 15 minutes every 12 hours. You can see in the attached image that at 5 p. m. It stated that the next time would be in 18 minutes at 34 p. m. That isn't the case at all. I'm going to return it because I don't believe it's genuine. Original review: br>br> This appears to be a fantastic timer on the surface - Well-made, highly functional, and simple to set up. It does, however, have a major flaw in terms of design. While the female threads are 3/4 garden hose threads, the male threads (where a garden hose would be attached) are 3/4 NPT threads. Is this for real? Why would someone create a "Hose Watering Timer" that isn't hose compatible? It would be ideal if you could connect it directly to an irrigation system with NPT thread, but that is not how the product is advertised. If you still want to buy it, keep in mind that if you want to connect it to a garden hose, you'll need a 3/4 thread converter like this one: br>br>

a multi-tasking timer purposes. This is something I use on a regular basis. To save time and water, use a water-fed garden system. For those who claimed it wouldn't connect to a garden hose, it does come with adapters, such as a female 3/4 npt to male 3/4 hose adapter and teflon tape. I made a protective cover out of a cut-down aluminum/mylar food bubble bag with a front and back flap to reflect heat and rain (I don't use the rain sensor because it would be triggered by a light shower). The only feature I wish it had is the ability to skip the next watering cycle on rainy days (on those days, I'll simply shut off the faucet and turn it back on later). I'm hoping it lasts because it's made in China like most devices.
This is a fantastic automatic timer. It has a substantial weight to it, and it is well constructed. My hose has the best flow of any constriction. Simply purchase it, program it, and leave it alone.
My old drip timer would randomly stop working or lose its settings. It didn't matter if the batteries were new or old, and it didn't matter if it was hot or cold outside. The Moistenland is a fantastic product that is simple to set up and use. I'm at a loss for words. It always works and is simple to use.
It is well-made. While I was on vacation, I attempted to set up a watering system. This was ideal for the task. I connected it to two sprinklers in my yard, but due to my error, it overwatered them. He figured it out and has been fantastic and dependable since then.
It took both of us a long time to figure out how to do it correctly. However, once we got it to work, it's fantastic, and we're happy we bought it. This is something I would strongly suggest.
It was simple to code this. It came with a few extra parts and a really nice display. It does exactly what it says on the tin, and I'm very happy with it.
