It's hard-wired into the system. There is no plug to be found. We just upgraded from an older Hunter 300 model to this one a few weeks ago, so there were no new wires to run, and it was very simple. We simply disconnected the old wires and reconnected them in the new box to the same locations. I'm not sure if the indoor models come with a power outlet. Best of luck!
Hunter Industries is a company that specializes in hunting. Look in the products and literature section of the website. The user manual should be available for download.
I'm not sure if the controller zone is capable of handling two valves' current draw. You should contact Hunter customer service, which is usually very quick to respond.
To power, use 110 volts at 60 Hz with a 24 volt output.
Selected User Reviews For Hunter Pro-C Modular Outdoor Irrigation Controller
I've bought a few houses, and the Hunter Pro-Timer has been the most popular among landscape professionals. The controller is written in C. I decided to check out the available options for watering controls when I remodeled my home this year, and I was particularly interested in a WiFi type controller this time, so I looked at a few models on Amazon, read the reviews, and double-checked their capabilities. While having the ability to control the watering schedule on the fly with a smartphone was appealing, I ultimately decided to go with this Hunter controller. My justifications are as follows: 1. br>br> Because I don't want any buyer to be completely tied to any particular phone or software if I decide to sell my house, the controller must be completely independent of any Wifi. Maintains a straightforward approach.
2. Your landscaper can use the outdoor box and lock to adjust or operate the system without having to go inside your house or garage. None of the competitors, in my opinion, have gotten this approach right, or even come close to what they already offer.
3. During rainy days, the Solar Sync feature keeps the system turned off. This feature finally solves a problem that so many other systems on the market fail to address; even internet monitoring systems are insufficient because they do not account for the micro-level details. The local weather isn't the weather reported on the internet; it's the climate of my particular yard.
4. The controller is simple to operate and has a plethora of features that most internet controllers lack; a large dial with a clear, easy-to-read display is sufficient for me. The soak feature is one of my favorites because it allows you to water multiple mini-gardens at once. cycles to allow water to percolate through the soil without running off
5. When you consider everything you get for your money, this controller is a steal. A nice outdoor proof box, controller, and user interface with lots of control options.
6. Individual stations can be easily controlled for immediate watering, which is useful when working on irrigation lines.
I needed to replace my old one, and this unit is both versatile and high-quality. Because it has terminals for that, I bought a rain sensor (which I haven't yet connected). The hinge pin can be lifted out to remove the cover. You can also open the control panel on its hinge to gain access to the inside for connecting wires, and it (My Favorite) has a backup battery so you don't lose your program if the power goes out. The battery is a 3V nickel-sized battery. My old unit had a wired terminal that had failed that was connected to a 9V battery. It can be used for more than just sprinklers; it can also be used for outdoor lighting. When I've examined the rain sensor, I'll post an update.
This controller takes the place of one that had reached the end of its useful life. The model had been updated, despite the fact that it was the same. This unit was just as simple to set up as the one it replaced. set- I would recommend this unit to anyone looking for a straightforward unit. Sprinkler controller that is facing forward.
In addition, the seller included a note with contact information in case you have any problems installing the controller or encounter any other problems with it. That's what's referred to as excellent customer service.
On Amazon, I found a much better unit for a much lower price. The Unit Was Very Easy To Install, And It Works 100%. This is a seller from whom I will purchase again.
It's quite effective. I purchased a Hunter Pro-style rifle. C PC- Base Controller for 4 Zones, 400 watts; To replace a unit from another brand that had failed, we created an outdoor model with an internal transformer and a lockable cabinet. In comparison, programming is a piece of cake.
Clear instructions are required.
I added two modules to the mix. They were easy to set up, and everything functions properly. This is one of the most affordable controllers with a remote control. The controller is in the garage, but the remote is functional from inside the house.
