The size of the washers is too small. A hose will move back and forth as they move through it. The results were the same after I used three. As a last resort, I reinstalled the old washer with the new washer on the bibb end in order to stop the leak. I was able to get it to work at the faucet end by aligning the hose and it up and down before winding on the handle so that neither the washer nor handle would move.
These hose clamps are thick and provide great protection from water leaks. It would be nice if they were a little bigger, as when you unscrew your hose or sprayer, the nuts tend to fall out. As a result of the cost and the fact that they stopped all my leaky connections, I highly.
They tend to fall out of connectors or dislodge. This product is marketed as being of higher quality and longer lasting. The only thing I can say is that I have not had them long enough to be able to comment. The washer is not "staying put", it does not seal well sometimes. I cannot believe that a company would manufacture this washer in such a "slightly smaller" size. (How much could be saved by such a blunder?.
A cheap garden hose that was intended for one simple task leaked horribly after I bought it (a cheap one for the reason that it was for one simple task). We found a solution to our problem thanks to this product. Neither a drop nor a fraction.
Although I found the quality of these washers to be satisfactory, if you lose one every single time you disconnect they are not worthwhile. Reordering a brand that has the tabs around the outer edge that prevent the washer from falling out is in order. I hope they will work better than before.
This is still around. It's great to see them. These cheap washers that frequently come in outdoor yard products pop out and get in the way Simply put in these so they don't go missing all the time. will see how it goes.
In spring and then at certain points throughout the summer, I need to replace the washers on my garden hose. keep a number of rubber washers on hand for drip irrigation setups for our vegetable garden, flowers, and orchard, and each setup needs a few new ones. There are various watering wands I need to replace the washer on since they leak. The washers are made of some kind of plastic or rubber It turns out that they install well and seal very well once the threads are tightened. Originally I thought they would be hard, but they work very well once you tighten them down. Despite the low price, it was a good deal. It is recommended.
