To meet the requirements of the Safe Drinking Water Act 2014 Requirements for Lead in Plumbing Products, all brass fittings other than those used in non-portable water systems must also meet the requirements of 2014. there is no difference between 0 and 1. There is a maximum lead content of 25%. In other words, unless it specifies in writing that it is not portable water, it applies to drinking water that is portable. This is a fitting that connects a pipe to a garden hose. Unless otherwise stated, it must state "For Non -Portable Water" if it contains lead beyond that of the Safe Drinking Water Act 2014. There is no way for me to tell you other than looking up the company's phone number or URL and asking them.

I was delighted when they arrived in good condition and worked exactly as I needed. I needed to fix the issue with my motion detector sprinkler riser (which was too tall anyway), and this piece was just the right replacement!.
One thing I found out was that some of my hose fittings ended up having female connectors. There was a male fitting on every nozzle or sprinkler that I needed to connect and I had trouble finding a way to connect the nozzles to the hoses. There have been no further problems since these were implemented. The brass fittings matched the other fittings perfectly, and they are very pretty as well.
The hose leads to an automatic waterer which I use to connect a high-pressure hose to. I am happy with its performance. A washing machine water line is attached to a standard water faucet in conjuction with a rubber-made water trough which has an automatic water float.

I found this to be a great solution. The garden hose was attached to this so that I can water plants away from the faucet with my 35G Container from Tractor Supply.
