The seeds germinate well - they have a high rate of germination. I germinated in both soil and soilless environments and had very few duds. I'll do my best to keep you updated as time goes on. br>br>Update (2020-) br>br> 19): Watermelons are getting ready to ripen. To my surprise, the dirt-grown melons have grown better and faster than my hydroponic melons (despite the fact that I am still a hydroponic novice). People stomping on the vines and raccoons attacking the hydroponic buckets have been a couple of setbacks for me. However, the vigor of these seeds has generally pleased me. I'll post another harvest update if Amazon continues to sell these seeds. br>br>Update (2021- br>Photos of the Yellow Crimson and a Crimson Sweet variety have been added. The Yellow variety tasted exactly like watermelon, with a hint of cantaloupe thrown in for good measure. Or perhaps I'm simply associating the flavor with the color. Anyway, these are some of the best melon I've ever had, and they're fairly simple to grow. Water usage is low - With just a single, I was able to feed my family. Dripper with a capacity of 5 gallons. br>br>This year, I planted some more using seeds from the previous year. The germination rate of these seeds is still good at 80% of them. P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>P. br>br>If you're looking for some advice, I'll keep it brief. 1) Dr. Earth Bud Bloom 2) organic unsulfured molasses 3) morning drip feed to keep the soil moist.

I have it growing in my garden right now. I was born and raised in Hawaii, which has a tropical climate. I started the seeds in small containers and had 95% of them germinate approximately 95% of them germinate. I re- They've been slowly but steadily growing since I planted them in the garden. I'm going to take some pictures and post them later. br>br>Recent changes: br>br> We were able to harvest one excellent melon after three months. This entire experience has been a roller coaster; I've seen far too many melons begin to grow, only to die on the vine or be eaten by bugs, and I've been disappointed in the amount of fruit per square foot. Our accomplishments, on the other hand, were well worth the effort. We had our first Yellow Crimson Melon today (along with my friends and family). Two Baby Sugar melons are also "on deck. ".

Make sure you don't throw your money away. Purchase a packet of seeds for 99 cents at the dollar store. Because that's all there is to it. a small packet of seeds that someone purchased for pennies on the dollar.

The yellow flesh watermelon seed packet had run out. The seeds in the other three packets appeared to be healthy, and I've already planted them.

Because I haven't started growing them yet, I only gave them three stars for flavor and ease of growth. They arrived quickly, in an airtight sealed bag with large giant seed packets. After shaking, they all have seeds and can be opened to see what's inside. Depending on how well they grow, I'll place another order. I'll post an update later. I would have uploaded a photo but there was no option to do so; however, the images they provided were identical.
