Questions & Answers

Can this plant reach a height of 100 feet?

I really like your question! about Meyer Lemon trees (and most citrus in general) is that they can be kept small in most climates and can tolerate pruning well. During the winter months, you may need to bring your plants inside, so try to keep them small and adaptable to your house. If you live in a cooler climate (zones 8 and lower) you can bring them outside in the spring. You will need to keep the plant in a somewhat small pot and prune it regularly in order to achieve this. Generally, if you live in a warm enough climate you'll need to plant your tree in the ground, as in this case the tree will grow to over 10 feet tall if it's not pruned. It is easy to train outside citrus to grow into a hedge as well as to blossom into a bush or I wish you the best of luck with your planting

What is the most suitable place in a garden for this tree? Its fruit remains the same year after What should I do with the inside piece?

There are fruit bearing trees on this property. Unless you live in a tropical area, you will have to bring the plant inside in the winter.

I brought the plant inside after it did well outside but it lost its leaves when I brought it in, even though it was near Is there a chance it will return?

It is from Magnolia that I bought the Myer lemon tree. My entryway was filled with it for two months. Do you think that your tree will be OK inside? Does it require bright light or can indirect light be used? Does it bear fruit if it does not go outside to be pollinated by bees?

Does this tree have the ability to sustain itself Does pollination occur?

The only citrus tree that is not self-polinating is the tangelo, all the other varieties produce fruit just fine on their own. Happy planting!

Everything seems to be going well so far
3/5

I'm not too crazy about it so far. Everything seems to be going well so far. Upon receiving my Christmas tree, I was delighted to see her in such good health. It's not a graft to an established root, which is what lots of gardening blogs suggest will result in the most successful plants. My two main concerns are as follows. Tag identifies it as a meter lemon bush, not a Meyer lemon developed with improved hybridization. According to my knowledge, Meyer lemons are illegal in the United States. In case it is not improved. The tree also didn't appear to be as established as I had expected. During the course of my lifetime, I have planted two trees. As a result, I'm a little worried. Considering I'm not more than a novice, I was hopeful that this tree will prove to be fruitful for me. It's been a good start for me so far. It has only been two days since I bought it. I have updated Even though I placed her in as much sun as possible inside the house and watered her sparingly, she dropped all of her leaves. My mind has been reading and reading and trying to think of a way to help As of now, she has much direct sunlight, no drying vents located nearby, and no watering problems, and her leaves are still vibrant green. Hopefully, things will turn out well. The following is an update as of There was a lot of direct sunlight and rain when she was outside in Pennsylvania May. Leaves are budding with a diameter of 1/2 cm to 1 cm on her bouquet. There is also a lemon bud on her! It is very clear she went through a shock and reacted negatively to leaving the greenhouse, which then led to her needing.

Thank you for making my day so special
5/5

I received my tree from USPS, which was transported very gently. The plant was dry when I opened it, but it was a beautiful plant around 10" tall, and I'm almost certain there are TWO trees inside. I have thoroughly watered it and will let it sit and acclimate for a few days before I transplant it into its new home. He is in excellent health. Excellent. I would recommend it.

It is believed that spider mites are present in the nursery

It just so happens that my sister and I both ordered Meyer lemons from here around the same time. We live roughly 3 hours I would be satisfied with the plant if it weren't for this issue.

Make a top out of it
3/5

Keep the cane green and alive. However, upon inspection it appears as if the main stem of the plant was cut off. In this picture, it appears that the plant was taller, but was cut down to fit It looks as if there won't be another shoot, but you never know until it happens.

Hopefully we will be able to find out
5/5

It's been updated New growth is improving the health of the tree. This is a very healthy diet. After I inquired about missing paperwork, they promptly responded and sent it to me. It was received earlier than indicated but the box was broken to allow the top to fit on. In addition, no certifications or instructions were included. It does seem a bit straggly, but I will see what I can do to make it more attractive.

That packaging is awesome! It was a very nice package! I was surprised when the tree showed up earlier than expected
5/5

It was also very stable as it was in a A key component of the tree's packaging was its wrapping in bubble wrap and tapping at the pot level to make sure it would be secure during transportation. Due to my decision to use a clay pot, I planted it right away using potting soil. Due to the cold winters in New England, I plan to bring the plants in before the first frost and to use a grow light if required. It exceeded my expectations both in terms of packaging and service.

What a cute little lemon tree you have there
5/5

I have it in a planter and plan to bring it inside for the winter, even though it's around 100 degrees outside. It's been well packaged and arrived in good condition over the last few days. A lemon of my own would be a wonderful treat. Originally, there were two trees together in a pot, and I didn't want to separate them since it could have killed them Trees are my favorite thing in my yard. I have a great variety of them.
