The principle of leverage should explain why this is so. The use of labor-saving devices reduces the amount of time it takes to complete the same task. The extra adjustable handle makes the scissors suitable for a wider range of environments, reducing work fatigue.
Without the blade, Hanlde has a length range of 19 inches. 5 inch

The leverage on these ropers is nothing short of incredible! The weight is just right, not too heavy, but with a nice overall balance. One feature I like about this design is that the length of the Whoppers can be adjusted by simply pressing a button on each handle, allowing you to reach high places without having to reach too far down. br>br>It's definitely a tool to use with caution because the blade is extremely sharp, but it also doesn't take up a lot of storage space, so it's been a nice tool to use around our yard as we clean up branches and old tree limbs that this has been cutting very smoothly.
I was looking for an extendable lopper with an anvil design, but all I could find were bypass designs. These turned out to be an anvil design, which prevents the blade fulcrum from warping when cutting thick branches, which was a happy discovery for me. The blades are razor-sharp, and I expect to use them for a long time; the fulcrum is reinforced to handle thick branches. Because of the reinforcement, the loppers can be difficult to maneuver in tight spaces, but it's worth it. There are about three discrete locking lengths on the extension, so there's nothing to slip or tighten on the handles. It's useful for extending your reach so you don't have to return to the ground to move the ladder to a new location.
It only works on branches and limbs with a diameter of an inch or less. It's difficult to get through anything larger than that. Not as sharp as the ones available at Home Depot for a lower price. Pruning shears are an excellent choice.
It was purchased for the purpose of pruning the low branches of my trees. As claimed, it can handle live (wet) branches up to 2" in diameter. Just be careful not to overwork the tool and use it with care. Instead of a bypass lopper, I'm glad I chose this anvil model.
It is simple to use the loppers. Small branches are easily broken off. It's as if you've received a brand-new toy. My only complaint is that the loppers do not have a locking mechanism to keep them shut when not in use.
These two cutters are both extremely sharp and simple to use. When I'm gardening, he's a great helper.
