My wife was the one who told me. I had a feeling this wouldn't work when I ordered it. . . . But when I went to return the box, it was empty. At the bottom, I noticed a foam box. . . . YEA! It was the SOLAR part that threw me off. I WAS THE ONE WHO PUT IT ON. It performs admirably. We like it a lot.

I wish I could give this item a four-star rating. 5 stars (or even 5 stars if it received as much attention for the minor flaws it has) because it is a fantastic product that offers excellent value for the money. br>br>The 7. The green color is lovely and true to what we saw in the pictures, and the 5' umbrella is a great size for our smaller patio. The angle feature is simple to use and feels solid, latching into place whether the device is upright or tilted in either direction. We haven't had much wind in our area since we got it, so I'm not sure how well it will withstand it. br>br>We're picky about the tone of light in our home (prefer warm light to white light) and were worried that the LED lights would be too blue, but they turned out to be just right, illuminating everything in a soft and even blue glow that feels more like moonlight or starlight than your typical bright and harsh LED blue light. For the sake of reference, I've attached some photos with varying levels of brightness. br>br>The crank mechanism for opening and closing the umbrella works well, but it is the only reason I deducted one star. The rope that moves the umbrella support catches slightly on the button that tilts the umbrella when it is opened. It was only a minor annoyance, and once we figured it out, it was easy to fix. However, if we don't assist in moving the support down by hand as we continue to crank the umbrella down, the rope appears to be coiling back on itself (inside the umbrella shaft). Again, it was only a minor annoyance once we figured it out, but it's worth noting for anyone looking for a new umbrella (and hopefully saving some confusion and having to figure it out on your own for anyone who does decide on this umbrella). It would be nice if it came with a storage cover, but I'm sure we'll be able to find something that will fit and work. br>br>I would absolutely recommend and purchase this product again!.

This umbrella has exceeded my expectations in every way. The umbrella is incredibly sturdy (I didn't buy a stand for it, btw; I just assembled it with three clicks), and now my humble urban balcony is a delightful tiki jungle resort. I simply inserted it into a planter pot through the hole in my patio table) and it looks just as good as, if not better than, umbrellas that cost hundreds of dollars. The color (burgundy in my case) is vibrant and accurate to the photo. The solar lights are also long-lasting. lasts a long time and shines brilliantly. Crank that is both simple and durable. With just one wrap, you can close the bag with velcro. around. The stand even tilts! br>br>In addition, kudos to the reviewer who pointed out that the solar mechanism is packed in the box's bottom. That probably saved me at least ten minutes of perplexity.

Absolutely 1000000% recommend this product. It’s not just good for the price—it’s worth every penny I paid and more than the price.

The umbrella material is quite nice and feels very durable, so it's a high-quality product. We're so glad we added the solar lights to our order. It'll be perfect for the Spring, Summer, and Fall seasons.

More of a decorative piece or a supplement to other lighting. They also require a switch to operate; there is no automatic setting for them to turn on when it gets dark. I already own a few of the same brand's non-lighted umbrellas, and the quality has been satisfactory thus far for the price paid; overall, I'm pleased with these. The true test will be how well they perform in the Arizona heat.

We purchased this for our patio dinette, as well as a larger one from the same company, to ensure that they were complementary. Both umbrellas are beautiful and complement each other beautifully. Our tan patio furniture looks great with the deep green. I like how easy it is to put up and take down the umbrella, and how it can tilt in any direction I want. The lighting is also very cool.

The solar panel performed admirably, and the lights turned on without a hitch. The lighting is controlled by a simple on/off toggle switch. It's a fantastic find at a reasonable price.

I purchased the red umbrella and was pleased with it. The color is stunning, and the fabric is thick and substantial. I've never met a fabric that didn't fade over time; I even had books that had spent years in a sunroom that had faded due to years of exposure to the sun. Bummer. So I'm planning on purchasing a fabric protector and spraying it once the weather improves. The solar lights were a little too efficient, and they turned on even when it was cloudy outside. Hopefully, the solar lights will last a long time. br>br>I am very pleased with my purchase and look forward to using it when the weather improves! br>br>Creative+ paraphrase: I'm not sure how I went so long without seeing the red on/off switch! Love it! The lights are excellent, and they produce a significant amount of light at night. Enough to read by, but not enough to catch the eye. Umbrella has already weathered one severe storm and performed admirably! It's also proving to be useful in making a particularly hot day bearable while sitting outside; I would strongly recommend this umbrella!.
