It's made of plastic and is extremely durable. This umbrella has been in my possession for quite some time, and I adore it. It comes with a tool to aid in twisting it into the sand, and it's incredibly simple to set up and use. Exceptionally safe. We were at the beach on a particularly windy day, and it was amusing to see everyone else chasing after their blown-away umbrellas. We don't have any!! It was so well-knit that it didn't budge. 😎
Yes, we were recently at a beach house rental that did not have an umbrella at the pool but did have a stand, so we used this in the stand and it worked perfectly; this is an excellent beach umbrella. Very well-made and simple to assemble. It's also very simple to bury in the sand. It receives a five-star rating from me.

If you're looking for a beach umbrella, you've come to the right place. The Ammasun beach umbrella is strong, stable, and light. The tilt feature, which allows you to angle with a single button press, was the best part. Stability is provided by the aluminum pole, which can be adjusted in height. It only weighs 5 pounds and comes with a storage bag. The color scheme and artistic design of Umbrella were both stunning. It was also very reasonably priced. Overall, this beach umbrella comes highly recommended from me.
The wide, sturdy sandgrabber kept it from flying away and potentially impaling someone, even as a potential hurricane/tropical storm approached. Simply dig a narrow trench first, then twist it all the way down inside, and your umbrella will stay put for a long time. We also liked the adjustable height feature, which was simple to adjust, and the fact that all of the parts fit easily in the matching carrying bag without cramming was a big plus at the end of a long day at the beach. I only wish we had had more time to test it, but we were forced to evacuate before our second week (see above). This is one I strongly suggest.
We'll be at the beach for two weeks and purchased this umbrella after seeing several Tommy Bahama umbrellas break. It was fantastic and held up well against the strong east coast winds if put together correctly (which my husband, who is very strong, did every day). It is simple to pack and transport in a bag. It also comes in a variety of attractive colors and is the ideal size for shading two people. I would not only recommend it, but I would also buy it again if the need arose. It arrived a day late, but I'm not sure if that's due to Amazon or the seller. Even so, it arrived within a few days, and thankfully before we left for the beach.
The screw-in anchor was very secure in the sand, and I never had any problems with it. It takes some effort to screw it into the sand, and it feels a little brittle, so rocky sand might make it a little more difficult. The pole is held in place by a screw in knob on the stand; my only criticism is that you can easily screw this in and dent or crush the pole. It would be better and faster to use a clamp similar to that found on a bicycle seat post. The umbrella was large enough to keep two people in the shade (although we did have to move as the day went on). There was never any fear of it moving or blowing away because the venting was sufficient. My previous umbrella, which had no vent and was only supported by a pole in the sand, would not have fared as well.
Exceptionally safe! This is fantastic! Colors are lovely, and they're simple to use. It's my first sand umbrella, and it's just the right size! It's simple to set up, especially with the little feature that helps you get to a secure depth in the sand on softer beaches. Even on very windy days, it feels very secure, as I've seen other people chase their umbrellas around the beach as they become loose. The travel bag is ideal for both storing and transporting your belongings.

The plastic screw-in feature is extremely durable, and it comes with instructions. To open the umbrella, you'll need a bit of muscle. To keep the sun out of the umbrella, it has a silver lining or coating. The tilt feature is fantastic for keeping the wind or sun out. For this price, you get a lot of bang for your buck!.
I was hoping for a sturdy umbrella, and it has performed admirably thus far! I'm glad I spent the money on this umbrella rather than the cheapo ones from WalMart. The wind is howling at the beach today, and my umbrella is barely holding on. It's far superior to the majority of the ones out here, which are all broken and turned inside out. If you're on the fence, this is the one to get!.
There will be no more battling with beach umbrellas that are falling apart. This umbrella's corkscrew base allows you to secure it in the sand, where it will be more wind resistant.
