It's made of steel and has a silver chromate zinc coating. Zinc plating that resists rust and pivot points that are ball bearings. You can paint over the chromate with a spray paint gun.

Bolts are used to mount the replacement glider bearing swinging arm repair bracket hardware kit. The lengths and diameters of the bolts would be determined by the dimensions of the original parts. Reuse or match the original bolts as closely as possible. Stainless steel and locknuts are recommended.

The hangers are fastened to the frame with bolts (bolts not included).

That's a pain in the neck, to say the least. Instead of assuming that generic 9" rocker arms would match the picture, I should have read the description first. As a result, I now have the exact same 9" rocker arms that I could have purchased locally for $6 each.
