The upper and lower edges are rolled to reduce the sharpness of the edges. The shorter edge, on the other hand, is quite sharp, but the end caps hide it. The end caps themselves have a slight edge, but they're thick enough that a file would smooth it out perfectly.
There's no reason why you shouldn't be able to. With corner pieces and wing nuts, it's a snap to put together, and I believe you could make it 80" long by simply screwing two flat pieces together.
UPS hasn't always been the most reliable delivery option for us when we've ordered something from Amazon. They sat with UPS for a long time after they received some of our items, not on this one, but on others.
Hi - They aren't designed to stack, but with the right supports in the corners and sides, they can.

This type of raised garden bed is something I've purchased and assembled several times. This one arrived in good condition, with no visible signs of wear. The box's top, middle, and bottom were all banded shut, and the bed was banded to it. Because this bed lacks the protective film that some of the more expensive beds have, you'll have to be a little more careful when putting it together to avoid scratching the metal. The turquoise bed is actually a denim blue, which I purchased. I prefer the blue, but this is why I'm docking a star. Bolts and wing nuts make up the assembly hardware; I have arthritic hands, so wing nuts are easier to work with than a standard nut or lock nut. From the time I first opened the package to the time I finished assembling it, it took me 20 minutes.
It was well worth the money! It only took 5 minutes to put this together! These beds are fantastic! I'm going to place another order. Please include more color options!.
It's incredibly simple to put together. I bent one by accident because the metal was a little too thin and flimsy. Even so, for the price, it's unbeatable: it's less expensive than buying 12 feet of 1x12. The color is a much deeper blue than it appears in the photo. That's unfortunate, but life is what it is.
I anticipate it lasting at least as long as my mortgage. Keep in mind that it has corrugated walls but smooth corner pieces, which means roots could get through tiny gaps. Get some garden fabric and line the sides (at the corners, if not all the way around) if you want to fill it completely with dirt.
I bought two of these to put around my cannas to protect them from the weed eater. Until the last bracket on the second one, it was a breeze to put together. The connecting brackets should have two holes on each side, as shown in the second photo. This was the only bracket out of eight that had only two holes, as shown in the first photo. Due to a lack of tools, this is extremely inconvenient and difficult to resolve. Aside from that, I think they're pretty cool.
This elevated garden bed is well worth the money! I also have a second set of garden beds that aren't doing nearly as well with my garden. In comparison to my plastic beds, which are buckling under use, this metal bed has held up exceptionally well, and it was significantly less expensive! br>br>It drains well and is quite large!.
If my wife can put these together, so can you. br>I think I'll be able to get a few seasons out of them. br>Due to the thin tin getting warm in the sun, the dirt will dry out around the edges, which is to be expected. br>The garden is flourishing, and weed control has never been easier.
This planter is one of my favorites. I made it rectangular by adding cedar boards to the sides to make it fit by our tiny house's step, and it looks great! Its plants fared well as well. I'm thinking about putting in a few raised beds in my garden next year, and if I do, I'll be using these.
